"latinx" is supposed to be the gender neutral version of "latino/latina". It used to be "latin@", but that wasn't inclusive enough.

Which is pretty dumb since the original Spanish language doesn't bother with that shit and just uses the masculine as default. Latinos/Hispanics don't give shit about pronouns.

Come to think of it, isn't it sorta racist/imperialistic for american/english speaking hipsters to go around and change a "POC" language to fit modern English sensitivities/standards?

It is, but don't tell them that. Many non-American tumblrites have been attacked for pointing out the American-centric views the website seems to hold regarding everyone/thing else on the planet. A lot of users will squawk about how DUH they're American-centric--THEY'RE AMERICAN AFTER ALL. Others perform very interesting feats of mental acrobatics in order to prove that they're actually quite worldly and right and stuff.
The more you try to understand it, the less sense it makes.

I never see these kids talking about non-American/English media that isn't Anime/Manga. It tells a lot about their view of the world, tbh.

"Tumblr is too american-centric" the sjws shout, not realizing that Tumblr itself is based in America.

Hey! "Senseless" could offend some Skitzophrenic, and "no good" could offend some depressive! You shitlord!
"af" isn't part of Tumblr's precious so-called "AAVE" (African American Vernacular English, SJWs love to jerk off to this bastardized concept).
It was a phrase coined by cancerous teenage viners living in ghettos/upper class neighborhoods trying to sound cool.

Yes, poor people. The middle class who can afford to live off of hamburgers and milkshakes. Truly they are more abused and suffering than, say, families who has to count their finances at the end of every month just to know if they can afford bread.

Something I've been wondering about ever since I saw that word, how on earth are you supposed to pronounce it? 'latinhhhh'? 'latinks'?
