One thing I've noticed is that tumblr hates people who cosplay as Japanese characters. They think it's appropriating the culture.
But all of them like anime. They practically fetishize it.
I see that as being hypocritical, but they see it as justice.
All characters that tumblrinas make could be described as mary sues. They generally have no personality or character traits apart from their orientation.
Pyonkotchi doesn't seem to be as overdramatic as Cuteo is. The latter deserves this thread.

The creator of this comic (Kate Leth) writes for Marvel now, on the Patsy Walker aka Hellcat book. It's so bad, the first issue is just her fighting a villain but then they bond because he makes a Wicked reference. He realizes crime is bad, they go to a gay bookstore, at one point he says "ugh men are the worst" and she agrees, and then they become roommates after she teaches him the error of his ways. It's just...so Tumblr.
