Usually they go easy on Europeans since they MIGHT be non-whites, and clearly they can't be as terrible as those stupid, racist, ignorant Americans. Who are of course always white
In TumblrWorld™ all Americans are white, unless you want to jump on the Bandwagon of Tears and self flagellate and/or completely misinterpret Native American culture to prove just how accepting and harmonious Pee-Oh-Cee cultures are when they haven;t been corrupted by whites

I feel like absolutely no one read the original post and just immediately went about strawmanning. They saw the word "dad" and "prayer" and immediately went full tumblrina-frothing mode.

How would the father know about her considering (a key word here) an abortion unless she'd mentioned it to him before? The post is barely a few sentences long and somehow all these people pull all kinds of ridiculous meaning out of it.

I notice the original poster's account has been deleted too. They were probably spammed with tons of anonymous "kill yourself" messages for having the unmitigated gall to ask about adopting an unwanted baby from an undecided pregnant woman.
Oh no, somebody's offering to take care of an unwanted baby instead of letting the mother kill it! He's Christian too! How awful!
These morons need to go fuck themselves.

This just in:
Words have multiple meanings! More news at 11.

Also, if having your toys taken away because you're being a lazy shit is "Psychological child abuse" you must have been raised on a fucking bed of golden roses.

Literally everyone on Tumblr talks like this? And it's so fucking annoying? Seriously though, I think people on Tumblr forget what question marks are for.
dont 4get hw they nvrr use capatalizaiton constantly mispell wrds and nvrr use punctution mrks

maybe i'm reading too much into a shitty flag but the lack of clarification on the design is bugging me.

is there any explanation for the use of the white upside down triangle? the only thing that comes to mind when i see an upside down triangle are the badges that were used in Nazi concentration camps to identify prisoners based off what they had been imprisoned for, but there were no white ones. i do know the upside down pink triangle is sometimes used specifically by gay men nowadays as a "pride symbol" but very rarely (at least in the US).

is this a symbol that isn't common knowledge or a design they just thought looked good without realizing the possible implications? or is it just them making a blatant mockery of the Holocaust by creating their own symbol based directly off the symbols used by Nazis, when they weren't even a specific target for them back in 1940s Germany?

Or it could just be an aesthetic choice.

idk man, but the first two are actually true if you look from the biological side.
and i laugh as the blog where this screencap comes from a trans man that used to id as nonbinary. in short? a cis girl. lmao. she even reblogged this more than a time, according to the blog archive.
i know that because the blog owner was involved in a big mmd community drama. but this is not the place for talk of that.

If white people shouldn't speak AAVE, then Latinos in the USA shouldn't speak Spanglish. There, I said it.

(because learning a new language and butchering two languages at once are completely different things).

I'm gonna be the dissenter here and say that, while I'm sure the man had good intentions and wanted to help, asking to keep a baby you're considering aborting when you're not family is kind of weird and a bit invasive. It's certainly a hell of a lot more preferable to yelling at her about how she's going to hell, yeah, but I think it's stepping over a boundary there. So I can see where he's coming from, but I can also see why people would find that to be nosy.

Unless, since we know nothing of the relationship between the knocked-up girl and the christian daddy-wannabe, they are really close and he already knows that she'd rather not abort but doesn't see a better option.

Of course there's plenty of situations where it would be invasive, I don't find it particularly normal to go around asking people for their babies, but I'm not jumping to judgement with both feet. In that I'm unlike the tumblr tards who just had to use that little story as an excuse to sing the praises of abortion and how liberating it will be for the woman. That's why it's funny - the immediate ideological overreaction with almost no information to base it on. Or Tumblr, for short.
