i don't know what you guys are talking about, Tumblr pretty much hates Japan nowadays. they'll sperg the fuck out about Osomatsu-san or whatever because at heart they're all still obnoxious fujoshits but then turn around and rant and rave about how Japan is a morally corrupt nation built on sexual depravity - especially if you ever bring up something like the idol industry. also long diatriabes about how there isn't enough racial diversity in anime and how it's totally okay to racebend Japanese anime characters because Japanese people get enough representation in anime, where's the representation for all the other oppressed PoC living in Japan! nevermind the fact if you're not Japanese and you live in Japan i'm pretty sure it's probably because you're pretty well off and have a good job (outside of being stationed there - but since Tumblr hates the military, i doubt they care about this).

I think it's kind of funny, really. They're trying so hard to be "woke" about what they consume, but their frame of reference is so limited that they accidentally end up falling into the very same racial/cultural stereotyping traps they claim to fight against.
Tumblr "woke" is just twitter tweets in a readable format about something that's either mildly concerning or not that concerning at all and listening to randos on the black side of tumblr because of course blacks can never be wrong about anything ever.

But fat-acceptance folks always harass tumblr bloggers who go to the gym and openly speak about it, like they can't stand other people not being fatties. Like if them losing weight somehow affects these people!

IN-SE-CU-RI-TY

It's so true, though. There's nothing these chuckwagons hate more than healthy, happy, attractive people, and they double hate anyone that leaves them behind to become one of those healthy, happy, attractive people.

I've been hearing rumors that after a few gross fans harassed idols in Japan there's been some talk about protecting their rights there big time. So there's that, it's better talked about there than the rampant pedophilia in Hollywood at least, which Tumblr loves ignoring for whatever reason despite it being much worse.

But yeah you aren't going to find may non-Japanese in Japan, unless your military or your job put you there. It's absurd to think otherwise too, like any other country with its main group. Not every country is Europe or America.

IDK, to me, if a trans guy decides to get pregnant, that's his prerogative, more power to him, etc etc but, last time I checked, most trans guys don't like being reminded they can get pregnant. Same thing with the whole "uwu men can get periods too" shit, for most guys who are actually actively transitioning, being reminded of that stuff is a huge source of dysphoria and upset. (plus, if they've been on T long enough, they won't even get periods anymore, so...)
Once again, in its attempts to be more inclusive in its language, Tumblr ends up hurting the groups it's trying to include more than it helps them.

Every time I see posts like that, it feels more like they're fetishizing than anything else.

tumblr: THEIR GAY GUYS UWU

Wouldn't the female lions just be bisexuals in a committed relationship with a male, but occasionally willing to lick eachother's lion parts?

... are lions problematic? In nature, Simba would nail his mom and Nala, who is likely his half-sister. Tumblr, get on this shit!

oh lmao sherlock fandom isn't dead. i finally got out of it after two years, a lot of them have moved onto other things but they're still active and still one of the worst fandoms on tumblr
Well you can't say something like that without showing us some shit, come on man.
I'm not too familiar with the BBC sherlock but wasn't there also some people whining over the Christmas episode or something?

lol honestly it's hard to know where to even begin with the sherlock fandom. http://tjlc.tumblr.com/ is crazy, they think there's this whole conspiracy shit going on behind the show to hide "johnlock" lmao, but that's only the tip of the iceburg

I deleted my basically inactive tumblr around the time the special aired, so i don't really know what was specifically said about the christmas special, but there was definitely a lot of whining lol
