Because it's not really a "gotcha" so much as it's just the snappy new randum zinger since that Elmer blog had a post about it. It was a regular ol' nonsequitor until (surprise, surprise) Papatulus took it for his own for him and his teenybopper followers to run into the ground as some kind of instantaneous arguement-winner, not realizing that not only does a joke have to be funny, it has to actually be original.

Even if they have normal posts, they're still obviously trolling. Just because someone has normal posts, it doesn't mean they can't make individual troll posts. Anyone with half a brain can tell that post is a joke. Failure to believe otherwise just proves how much of an autist you really are.

Before anyone says something like "Oh, but all Tumblr users are schizophrenic!1!!11", I've been on Tumblr for years, and jokes like these are actually pretty common. Even most SJWs can tell it's a joke.

Only male betta fish look cute. Females are very boring looking fish. It's evolutionary for the males to be flashy and attract predators. Therefore, the only ones that live long enough to breed, despite this handicap and the fact they constantly try to murder each other, are the really fit ones.
