I dealt with someone like this before. The way they acted, you'd think the 50's killed their dog or some shit. When I pointed out that the 50's was the height of the Civil Rights movement, she kind of self-destructed.

Like...do they not get that there's more to a decade than a type of dessert and segregation? The dresses, the cars, retrofuturism, the early beginnings of sci-fi and exploitation cinema, the music, giving little kids all kinds of dangerous shit and calling it "toys"... It was a legit interesting time period, and they need to chill the fuck out about it.

Half the time when I see people calling for the return of a decade, they usually just mean they want the culture back.

Irony since McCree is a dark-toned white guy (about tan or light olive in skin color) and has an obvious white cowboy accent ala John Marston of RDR.

Besides, "PoC" is a dumb term in general. It's a few edits away from "colored people," an obviously offensive term.

Roadhog isn't confirmed Maori, though many things point to him being at least half Maori, since his last name, Rutledge, is probably the most Anglo name one could imagine for a new-zealander.
