I never got the "DON'T REPOST EVER WITHOUT PERMISSION EVEN IF YOU GIVE THE ARTIST CREDIT" thing either because I used to draw a lot of art for 4chan and the like back in the day so I got used to seeing my art reposted out of nowhere. My reaction would always be "Oh hey, I drew that!" instead of "UM HOW DARE YOU REPOST THAT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION YOU SCUM."

'Cause that kind of reaction would be the equivalent of painting a big red target on your ass and saying "JUST KICK ME RIGHT HERE AND NEVER EVER STOP, THANKS."

This so hard. In the age of memes and reaction images, it's time people just start accepting that their work could just be reposted any-damn-where without them even knowing, much less being credited. I've long since given up caring. People ask to use my shit for icons or wallpapers and say, "I'll make sure to credit you!", at which point I just tell them to do whatever, because hey--I'm just happy if someone ENJOYS it enough to use it for something. At least it's not just going to waste sitting around.

On another note, I like how the "Persian cat room guardian" person handled her sculpture becoming a meme. She made an updated version, and used the meme template itself to present it, thus highlighting how greatly her artistic skill has improved. Too bad she only ever made one of the original, though. It was a cute lil' fuzzball.

Yes, but Cartoon Network isn't airing it as much as they used to...mostly because they have Teen Titans Go to endlessly repeat, they're trying to find space for We Bare Bears, Mighty Magiswords, and the 2016 Powerpuff Girls (the latter of which, by all outward appearances, seems to be canceled due to no one liking it), they're trying to squeeze as much as they can out of The Amazing World of Gumball since the show creator, Ben Bocquelet, announced that he was ending the show next year [and that rumors that he was going to let the show go on without him turned out to be false], they have to burn off Clarence [which, outside of people who liked the show because it depicted gay couples as normal people, doesn't have much of a fandom, especially since the original creator, Skyler Page, had a mental breakdown and was fired for allegations of sexual harassment and assault], Uncle Grandpa, and Adventure Time since those shows are either already canceled or preparing to end, and they're scrambling for new show ideas.

Life was simpler when Cartoon Network was just a dumping ground for the non-Disney classic cartoon shorts (Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies, Popeye, and Tom and Jerry), as well as whatever Hanna-Barbera created (from the popular like The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, and Scooby Doo to the obscure like Where's Huddles, Wait Til Your Father Gets Home, and The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley)

Even if Alistair was black in Origins and Bioware turned him white in Inquisition - they have a full right to do so. Dragon Age is their property and they can do with it whatever they want. Creators constantly redesign their characters, in many different aspects for many different reasons - unfortunately Tumblr forgets about that unless it's the other way around (as the Isabela example mentioned before).

I suppose it also proves the theory that tumblr kids are simply privileged and spoiled brats that will throw a tantrum if they don't get what they want?

It's a shame because, despite some minor fuck-ups Bioware did (but who doesn't make mistakes?), :powerlevel:I think:powerlevel: their games are pretty diverse and progressive and touch upon the "grey morality" (or at least DA and ME). Yet tumblr with latch onto the white cis het males and whine about the lack of representation; completely ignoring the pehohseas or bringing them up only for ally points and when they want to get some notes on their OOC fanart and fanfiction.

But I guess that's right about any piece of media.

Yeah, that was an odd design choice. Isabella was a somewhat radical change from Origins to DA2, but she is Rivaini--a land known for pirates and mostly dark skinned men, women and children. This may have been about the time Bioware was adapting SJW-esque themes in terms of a diversity quota, among others. That, or they were trying to match her appearance to her backstory.

I'm glad they don't consider themselves INFJ, otherwise they'd make a huge spectacle of how they're the "~*~*~*rarest of the Myers-Briggs personalities*~*~*~". That would probably make them feel more entitled to handouts, because oh-so rare and all.
