So, the Overwatch art book just got released, and there was actually a venerable amount of concept art that vastly differed from the final product; most notably Mercy being a black beefcake, skintight suit and all. The implied romance with Genji was still gonna be a thing and everything.
Of course, with tumblr being the bitter, touch-starved community it is, immediately took to whinging and making generalizations about everything because obviously people that just want to have a quick jerkoff in disguise are clearly the market you should listen to.
Also, for every time that Doomfist is written off as just "aggressive" instead of a calm and calculating buff social Darwinist/Lucio is seen only as a "criminal/DJ" instead of an actual active freedom fighter that's against afascist regime, my innards end up congealing bit by bit.

Apparently. A personal lolcow of mine touts herself as trans while at the same time championing herself as the next big name in lesbian fiction. Her twitter is filled with posts about lesbian positivity. Her cisgendered fiancee refers to her as "girlfriend" and "wife." But she's totally not a woman!! Because she says so, and has a bad short haircut, or something.

It's kind of funny how on Tumblr, you're valid if you're a transgender man but not if you actually have dysphoria and decide to transition beyond just binding your chest and cutting your hair short. This sort of backwards logic really only applies to them, because even if you're not cis but you pass as a man (unless you're a trans woman) you're just another evil man and should be treated as nothing more than dirt, even if you've worked your ass off to actually be regarded as one.
