I actually noticed a few black feminists saying that the effeminate white gays appropriate their culture. I can’t even remember what words they claimed they were stealing, but it was just basic slang that teens use. And in all honesty, some of those posts go straight into homophobia.

It has been proven by statistics time and time again that white women are the safest class in the western world. And even if you live in a shitty area, the main victims are always the children. Blacks at least have some base for their victimism, but white women crying over how dangerous being a white woman is are so full of shit

Pretty much all the women in that conversation were white so it was easy to tell that they were being paranoid drama queens. In real life I have yet to meet a women who felt like they needed to hold their keys as weapons when walking outside the house.
(Also hasn't it been proven that holding keys in such a manner to fend off assaulters is not only an ineffective strategy but dangerous?)

Honestly when women, tons and tons of women, started talking about how unsafe they felt all the time on Tumblr, I felt like I was the odd one out because I did not have any of those experiences, nor had most of the other women I talked to.
