A picture has been making rounds here lately of Quasimodo shopped onto a hobo salesman of a.. Well, hobo magazine. One thing I do like about Europe is how much cultural shit we've bled into each others countries to the point these memes show up. In terms of less spitefulness; the ideas of countries being represented by their female ideal like Germania etc is pretty cool too.

We could fix all our issues in a day if we bothered. They could shower, shave, buy new clothing, apply for 5 jobs, and go outside. But here we are.

Typical hypocrites. These people are the first to say how awful capitalism is (I get it definitely isn't a perfect system by any means) but at the same time think throwing money at an issue is an end all be all of the problem. Just like how rich people think. These people clearly don't have the perspective to understand that fixing a national monument is way easier to solve than to I dunnno. Fix poverty. Even if every rich person was to give 10% of their money to poor people NOW it does not tackle the issue of internalized issues within poorer communities or even mental health. How are these people exactly like the ones they claim to hate to a tee?
