That shit just comes off to me as "i'm a poorfag but I don't wanna say it". I honestly doubt an outsider has taken Tumblr's long tangents about how cishets killed their families and robbed them that seriously.

They were isolationist, excepting when it came to the Dutch, the only European nation they allowed trading with - though only at one port.
