Random Tumblr posts

It's funny seeing these people getting worked up for nothing instead of just enjoying the holiday and eat some hotdogs. Their protest is to make angry tumblr posts and probably being a dick to their family.

I'm pretty sure the "willing to accept the consequences" is pretty much already there being out and arresting dangerous people.

There's been people who couldn't be taken down with tasers so I wonder how this Tumblrtard thinks cops should take people like that down, when they can't be taken by that kind of force. Are they going to just wrestle them?

Just the other day there was a case where two officers were called to the scene of a knife-wielding man acing erratic. They consistently pleaded with him to drop the weapon and tried to deescalate the situation, but the perp refused to back down and ended up charging at one of the officers. The fucker ate seven bullets and still got up.

The officers then attempted to taze him, since he dropped the knife and was injured, but the second they tried to switch weapons the guy charged one of them, put him in a headlock, and started going for his gun. Only after eating two more bullets, one of which was apparently a headshot, did the guy go down.

The entire time the officers tried to avoid taking his life and sounded legitimately distraught at the prospect of it. They did everything the BLM crew says they want cops to do when dealing with minorities (the guy was Korean), and yet look what happened. Why should they suffer for a decision that was obviously a last resort?

Here's the vid, by the way. Both officers are physically fine, but probably traumatized. Poor guys.

Bet you $50 this same person also believes it's everyone's duty to punch random """Nazis""" and it should be illegal to punish them for it.

I think I found a post that sums up all of tumblr: it's a 1) callout post posted by a 2) user that's changed names that talks about 3) fandoms with 4) ~problematic content~, 5) kin drama, 6) barely-if-at-all-related social justice drama, the post mentions 7) zero real/dangerous concerns in it to justify a callout, it starts off with8) trigger warnings for things that aren't graphic/disturbing, the person being cancelled has a blog with 9) an eye-bleeding custom theme that along with 10) tumblr's stupid reblog-means-shift-right formatting makes it hard to read, and literally all the text is 11) written in tumblr speak (overly-hostile, immature, all lowercase, forgetting punctuation except.... lots of ellipses..... because... it's so.... emotional.... and dramatic.......)

To be honest the theme and formatting making it hard to read don't even matter, I already can't see because of the tears in my eyes from laughing at someone unironically typing "tw for south park"

There was a famous shooting near Huntington Beach where a young guy kept walking up to a cop and kept going on after the police man tazed him. Eventually they wrestled and the guy tried to grab for the weapon so he got shot down.

I was going to post the same video. Notice how far those 2 cops walked backwards--all the way down the street and onto the highway--before their maneuvering room was hampered and the first shots happened.

If you look at this and say, "Ok, this is the proper way for cops to not try and kill anyone", then imagine how tough the non-ideal situations are. This happened in broad daylight, with no one else around to endanger or interfere, when the cops could clearly see all potential danger, and had an entire unobstructed empty street available for movement. And it still ended up with a fatality, almost 2 when they tried to switch to Tasers and the 2nd cop nearly got killed.

But that Tumblr asshole thinks they can accurately judge when to "honorably discharge" a cop based on the existence of violence without the context of the situation? Fuck them. And especially fuck them for suggesting a system designed to drive out experienced cops, instead of keeping them around to learn from such situations and improve things in the future.

>South Park being anti Semitic
They know Matt Stone’s a Jew right? Also it’s pretty great that their attitude towards the tumblr type fandom seems to be “y’all are fucking weird but we love you for it”

And I’m pretty anti cop and think they get away with too much shit, etc, but getting rid of cops for doing the right thing is dumb af. I get the argument that eventually they might become desensitized to the violence and won’t think so much about killing, but I doubt that happens from killing one dude in self defense
