Why, exactly?

Can you really blame them for loving gratuitous shots of David Bowie crotch?

Okay so, full disclosure, I fucking love Labyrinth. And as dear as the movie is to me, it is like catnip for socially awkward nerd girls who are probably kind of clingy, love musicals and are waaaayyy to into escapism and fantasy to an almost worrying degree. I think with that combination of many girls watching the movie for the first time in their preteen years probably causes some... unrealistic expectations? I think my friend's stalker might have been really into Labyrinth now that I think about it.

Generally I tend to be a little bit wary about girls who gush about Labyrinth but have very little to say about The Dark Crystal, if anything.

That's a little odd considering that the protagonist of Labyrinth is waaaayyy too into escapism and fantasy as well, and the film doesn't think that's a good thing...

I thought girls just watched it because they had a boner for David Bowie and his tight pants.

It's kind of funny because the moral of the movie is letting go of escapism and growing up.

If a girl's absolute favorite movie is Labyrinth, she's fucking crazy and should be avoided.
Wait, but what if my husband also loves the Labyrinth. Do I need to check the closet for an oubliette?

No cos bowie is a PEDO!!! AND A FAKE GAY !!1!!! AND A FACIST !!!!!1one!!!1!!!! Support queer movies from the era instead.

Also edit: Catcher in the Rye, Fight Club and Clockwork Orange are GOOD FICTION. As a female I would rate them in my top list of books because I like postmodernism. Surely the take from the post is 'don't trust someone who likes all these generic things because they're a boring hipster bastard' as opposed to 'u w u toxic man!'

They're probably just making that claim about A Clockwork Orange because the Nadsat confuses them.

That's a prison bitch. He killed three women out of hatred and is pleading for make up and reassignment surgery because he'll be placed in a WOMEN'S prison. It just sounds like he either became Tyrone's wife or he's hoping to disguise himself as a woman to attack and kill women in prison.
golly it's obvious to all of us what these sick fuck's real motives are but no "muh identity" and troonism is more important in current year to tumblr socialites and cuck governments.

He can spend his time in lady prison on three conditions by me: 1.) He gets his cock and balls cut off, 2.) He spends his time in solitary, and 3.) He gets all the "privilege" in his healing crotchhole real women get with corrupt guards in female prison (rape. i'm talking about rape.)
He'd beg to be a man again.
til in this person's reality some people are permanently 15 when they're actually 23.

I am forever stupid mad about that claim, as Bowie specifically declined to play a kiss scene in the Labyrinth cause he decided that, with actress that young, it would've been creepy (even though it made zero sense in context and dancing is way more intimate).

I think they're talking about the two groupie teens he fucked in like the 70s but the one lady in that situation who wrote about her experience didnt seem all that upset reminiscing on it years later
Still kind of a weird thing to do but I get times were different
