Guys, looks like null is going to have to shut the website down. Telling someone else a person's name without getting signed written permission first is a federal crime. Filipinawitch would know, obviously. Interestingly, their blog is gone and replaced by an ad for an online betting website in Thai.

I'm fairly sure they're talking about employers specifically, but that's still completely incorrect. There are pretty much no federal laws protecting non-medical personal information from private corporate or personal entities, as most anything else is considered free for use and dissemination by whomever writes it down or otherwise records it.

Yeah, they have to be confusing their interpretation with doctor-patient confidentiality or something similar.
