Why is it whenever you ask an artist on Tumblr even the most basic question they flip out like you just called them retarded? This is like the third person this week I follow who sperged out over minor shit.

One Directioner Tumblr looks fucking wild.

Totally true. White men can't research mental illnesses and write books about them without suffering from said illnesses.
I hope Whitey Neurotypical McMale knows that tumblr is veeeery angry and offended.

Also (white male) doctors can't write books about cancer without having cancer, (white male) archaeologists can't dig up mummies without being dead for thousands of years and being covered in bandages and (white male) zoologists can't do researches about animals because they aren't animals (otherkins don't count!1!!).

Someone should actually do a research about mental illnesses of tumblr users. But not white men (unless your name is Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch or you are a guy from one direction)

Also if tumblr makes you dissociate: LEAVE THE FUCKING WEBSITE! But that's too hard because no tumblr means no special snowflake status.

Honestly, all of the sections of Tumblr dedicated to real people (Lets Players, bands, j/kpop etc.) seem to get especially crazy over their "headcanons" about actual fucking people *sigh*

I like that one One Direction blog that ships one band member with random celebrities and another band member will track down and try to murder that celebrity for revenge.

They play out these scenarios in photosets with cryptic dialog added on.

The problem with that statement is that a panic attack usually results in a withdrawal from the stimulus. It does not result in people all-capsing or typing like they just suffered a brain hemorrhage and lost a lot of education as what these teens and adult-babies do.

And honestly, the moment someone decides that science is wrong because it gives them an answer they don't like is the moment they have earned the cone of shame.

I remember when, at the height of the Ferguson craze, everywhere there were things like "Black Lives Matter! But saying "All Lives Matter" is racist because it's like barging into a black persons funeral and saying 'Everyone matters too'!", "Here's what to do to fight tear gas! *cue factually incorrect information*" , "Fuck the police, they're murderers who hate black people!" , "*Link to article about another needless shooting of a black person*", and other things related to the incident. Yet, oddly enough, once the controversy died down, the amount of these posts being posted each day became less sand less, until you were lucky to find a post that was related to Ferguson. It's funny how people were all like "We cannot stop until this man is brought to justice!", and then they eventually stopped.

2014 when my life went downhill and was really stressful - I had like 1 or 2 panic attacks every month for several months. Guess when they happened? Not when I was on the internet and saw something offensive or confusing. It happend when I went to work, when I was at work, when I went to bed and so on. Everything was completely normal and then boom panic attack.

What it's like you may ask? Well it's a feeling of horrible fear. Fear of what? Well for me - NOTHING. That's right I knew that there was nothing to be scared of - but my body didn't. My heart was beating like crazy, I couldn't stand on my feet anymore and it was hard to breath. When it happens you can't just go on the internet like normal - you can't do anything besides sit down and use breathing techniques to calm your body down (it works by the way). It's a horrible feeling - your mind is trapped in a body that is stricken with fear and you have no real control over it. I never want to feel it again. The attacks lasted 5+ minutes. It was hell every time.
