Cursory examination indicates they're talking about a Steven Universe character. Some "Priyanka Maheswaran". No idea about the context for it or what she did in the show, though.

They're also supposedly a "roleplay blog" for this character although all I see on their page is autistic screeching and no roleplay at all. Their blog theme is absolute unreadable ass, by the way.

I had trouble finding the post that was 'ye to come'. I shall just write wha the post said here:

Do you remember the shooting a the Pulse nightclub in Orlando? A few days later, Tumblr circulated a Facebook pos that said something around the lines of: '"Non-violent" homophobes are bunk from trying to separate themselves from the shooter. The truth is that voting in support of The Defense of Marriage Act is exactly the same of the Pulse Massacre.'
(The Defense of Marriage Act simply says that he federal government would not recognise same-gender marriages, nor would any states that do not recognise those marriages would be forced to do so, even if they were married in a state that does.
There is no clause that permits murder of queer people.)

Remember how the shooter was a repressed muslim and all of a sudden Pulse wasn't talked about anymore?

That was just bullshit, though. There was a huge attempt to make him out to be a closet case but regulars at the bar contradicted the reports that he was some kind of regular there and said it was nonsense. The fact is he was just an enraged Muslim who hated homosexuals because of that religion's well known teachings, and also its teachings encouraging violence against nonbelievers, and who acted in accordance with those beliefs.

I am really surprised that others did not just continue calling him a closet case... especially at he deliberate denial of the facts.

This comparison would work better if immigrants, in general, were thought of in a negative light when in actuality it's just the illegals that tick people off.

Exactly. I even saw a "now you know how the refugees feel" comment as well in regards to the Coronavirus.
