Yup. A friend of mine is always bitching about the USA (while praising Japan of course) on Facebook. I get so tempted to mention about the Ainu people, but he will justify that with "WELL, NOT AS BAD AS THE US". Tumblr's attitude towards the police is really fucked up. I mean, I know that police brutality happens, and bad cops like Darren Wilson exist, but Tumblr acts like every police officer in the country is a nazi who shoots black people for fun.

As someone whose intense early childhood trauma is centered around bathtubs/bathrooms and who was fearful of taking a bath up until just a couple years ago, fuck off. Take a goddamn shower. Brush your goddamn teeth. Do your goddamn laundry. Sitting in your own filth only worsens things, and you'll find that doing even the tiniest thing to improve your life can do quite a lot.

Tumblr was too busy 'staying woke' about cops in America to give even a single thought to the Nepal earthquake, and guess what, since the black guy didn't get shot in Florida, the police were actually punished for it.

Having read that little screed, I'm still not seeing the part where the first otherkin are white supremacists. Cultural appropriation yes, but its the exact same methods tumbrlina's use when they say that Native Americans where down with transgenders because of the two-soul thing in that one tribe. As for the gaelic mythology, that's not white supremacist either. I could maybe see an argument if it was Norse because a lot of right wing groups really enjoying wanking the Vikings for some reason but Gaelic?

How hard is it actually to shower once a day, or at least every other day... Even when I was in the midst of year long bouts of depression I'd still shower. This just boggles my mind (though it does explain the stench of certain customers at work.)
