You think they'll ever stop targeting low-hanging fruit and actually tackle real SJ issues?
"DID I LE TRIGGER YOU??" Is what they've decided is more important because it's funny but they probably wouldn't be laughing if a ton of people decided to cherry-pick the shittiest SJW and said 'this is what you stand for? Okay, idiot."

Everything on this blog is hilarious, but this post in particular made me spit my water everywhere. There is something profoundly hilarious about cute rainbow unicorns on a carousel with the 'punchline' of "WOMEN ARE AFRAID THAT MEN WILL KILL THEM".
Oh feminist Lisa Frank, you so (literally) cray.

see that's funny because men are more likely to be killed by other people.
so these women that are so scared are basically playing in traffic while being scared of lightning strikes on a clear day.

I never got that quote. It seems to be basically saying that men worry about a common, terribly traumatic occurrence that happens multiple times to them in their lives, while women worry about something that, while much more traumatic, happens vanishingly rarely - and happens more to men than to women?

I think it's how, regardless of statistics or actual fact, the media unintentionally creates a culture of paranoia around crime. Even on a general level, you'll come across people who'll swear up and down that crime rates have got worse over the years, even though they've actually been falling steadily for around two decades (in Britain, at least).

Because of the murders and disappearances of women that are reported (sometimes obsessively) across all news mediums, the serial killer documentaries that are on every week, horror films that have achieved cult status in popular culture, the crime procedurals that often depict female victims that have been killed by a male perp, and so on -- when women encounter a creep who gives off bad vibes, a lot of us have a little voice in the back of our head that says, "Is this guy dangerous? Could I be next?" Even though it doesn't necessarily make sense to ask that question, and even though enough murderers have been polite and charming to make that question a little redundant, it still gets asked anyway, because it's hard to completely escape from the cultural "men kill women" message that gets broadcasted every day, no matter how out of line it is with actual probability.

...I suspect that they make stupid claims that they are "genderfluid" or make up genders in a poor attempt at being a special snowflake?

I think that some Tumblr members start with an open-mind & good intentions.

Sadly, they come out angry & offended by nearly anything they come across.

The joke/troll posts are hilarious, though.

I seriously keep reading this one as "gender scent", like your gender fucking smells like yankee candle or some shit.

...Become your gender?

I already am my gender, & it's female. :story:

I think so. I suspect it's mostly a lot of girls and women who feel they don't mesh with the perception of what is traditionally "feminine" on top of resenting the inequality of the sexes in society and wanting to opt out somehow. I don't mind the experimentation with gender presentation and androgyny so much as I get annoyed by the loud declarations of I'M IN THE TRANS CLUB NOW GUYS.

Yeah, like getting more into gender spectrums is interesting but Tumblr pretty much turns it into a fucking joke by being completely irrational and make it seem like a special snowflake contest(not to mention some ridiculous terms and even objects like lamps as genders, but we've pretty much established that already)

I know this is kinda garden variety Tumblr crazy but something about this blogger is particularly amusing to me.

EDIT: they just reblogged this and I'm still confused. What exactly is the problem here?

My guess is that drawing characters as their opposite gender invalidates how hard it is to be a trans person, or something.

I think it comes from the Tumblr mindset of feminine/female bodied =/= female and masculine/male bodied =/= male. So slapping tits on a male character doesn't necessarily mean they're now a female version of that character and vice versa. I've seen people (tumblerites) complaining about this before, that the people who do it are essentially erasing the identities of trans people whose gender presentation doesn't match up to their gender identity due to gender stereotypes by saying "this character now LOOKS like a girl and therefore IS a girl".

Edited to hopefully make more sense, but it still doesn't really make much sense.

I still don't see why we can't have trans headcanons and genderswaps. Rule 63, when done well, can be pretty cool sometimes.
I'm pretty sure the only times they complain about it are when they see huge anime titty versions of genderbent dudes, and what NanoBlockEnthusiast said about appearances = gender to some people. The whole 'erases trans' thing is dumb though because if they were MtF genderbent they would be FtM.

These blogs are making me feel like there's nothing I can do.

This one is hilarious.

>"Truscum are literally Hitler, I want to punch them."
I'm pretty sure I could break these little faggots in half, it wouldn't be hard for a transman/transwoman to do the same.

The words "reborn dolls" are about the only words I recognize in this drivel, and reborn dolls are really creepy things.

My guess is that drawing characters as their opposite gender invalidates how hard it is to be a trans person, or something.
Rule 63 only makes sense if you recognize genders as two polar opposites. I mean, what is the reverse gender of a "nanoboy"? A megamilk?

Self diagnosis lololol.

There should be a dictionary on tumblr terms. It would be 3 different volumes, considering the amount of shit they make up.
