For those who don't play Dragon Age, elves are treated like shit in this game, it's realistic and it's mostly because of how different they are from the humans. They are a proud group of people with their own beliefs and culture that has been basically ripped from them from centuries of slavery and war. They'll always be treated badly, in fact there's a country in Dragon Age that legalizes slavery of elves and willing humans. It's super interesting and affects you if you play as an elven Inquisitor.

With that kind of stigma that elves have, wouldn't you think that a half-elven child would be considered taboo? This person here thinks it shouldn't be and it's awful and they should be treated like an ordinary human, only that makes no sense. It's realistic and happened before in real life and this person is bitching over the fact Bioware went for realism. They praise the fact there's a canon transman in the game who has his problems, they're okay with the fact a character faces homophobia from his family, they're fine with your elven Inquisitor getting shit when they go to the Winter Palace for being an elf, but mixed children of a fictional race being considered bad is apparently the straw that broke the camel's back????

And in other news someone complained to the writer of Dragon Age on his Twitter that Krem (the trans character) was voiced by a woman and not a irl transman. They do realize this is a fantasy world and Krem would have no way to deepen his voice right? That pre-T transmen do sound like women 95% of the time?

Pardon the history sperging, but nevermind the fact black/Asian/etc SJWs believe the aspect of white privilege, which was developed by both Theodore W. Allen, with his 1967 book White Blindspot and Peggy McIntosh in her 1987 essay "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack". Nothing says adult like learning to play a game out of spite and not even buying your own deck because you don't actually care about the game. Basically, he's a former soldier who works and lives at the park now. He's tanned because he lives there.

Also it's worth mentioning that there's a difference between how something like Parks and Recreation, a primetime NBC comedy, and a Hollywood blockbuster like Jurassic World are produced, filmed, lit, and colorized. A lot of work goes into making films look a certain way, and you usually end up with some oversaturation that will make lighter skin look darker (or more reddish-orange than normal), which is basically a bit of what happened here.
Or, you know, people are just bitching that a guy who played a lovable chubby character got a bit of a tan.

Well that's just stupid. In regards to race and casting, I somewhat sympathize and side with SJW when it's an obvious case of whitewashing (Like with Benedict Cumberbatch and Star Trek) even though they can be so obnoxious about it. But this? This isn't racism. It's how pigmentation works. You know for all the "mayo" jokes that SJWs like to make, it's really no surprise that they have no idea how white skin works (Well any skin shade, tbh). Not every white person burns up within 5 minutes in the sun. We're not all vampires. I'm naturally very pale but give me a couple weeks in the sun and I'm noticeably a few shades darker. Given that his character lives in a tropical setting, it makes sense that he has somewhat a tan.

Also good point about the colorizing aspect. I didn't really take that into account. Kinda reminds me of when SJWs got on the showrunners for Legend of Korra case because a couple of characters who are supposed to be their setting equivalent of Inuit (Well, half Inuit technically but don't tell SJWs that) looked a little too pale for their liking. It got to the point where they had to put out a blog post stating that it was merely color theory and not some Stormfront takeover.
