Although this was on the artist's Tumblr (here), this comic was actually published long before Tumblr, way back in 2005. And it's not the only one, either, but part of a series. Here's some more from the same author:

So she's a fully grown adult who never grew out of her edgy goth phase and her ideas of abuse survival consist mostly of pretending to be in the Craft and being spooked by a few too many Ouija boards?

I don't know if you've posted this one yet...but...I'm dying from the inside.

I actually do think that people in the US (and elsewhere?) turn health into a moral issue. There's an implication that being unhealthy is caused by a person's stupidity or selfishness, and that therefore a sick person deserves to be sick, as though these things occur in a vacuum. "But being healthy is so easy for me, so clearly you're to blame." Obviously if you put a moral spin on something so arbitrary, some people are going to have an indignant response (perhaps without realizing it).

But...There's a difference between someone consciously going "I have weighed the pros and cons of continuing my lifestyle and decided I like the way I am" and what most overweight people think. Everyone on both sides needs to stop viewing obesity as a stupid choice and address actual causes.

Libraries are free, Tumblrtards.

Libraries are wonderful. And you can just sit in a bookstore and read the books there without purchasing them, too. I routinely observe that and do so if I can afford books to make sure its worth my time.

They just want some sort of excuse to claim why they're not literate and try to say something about class oppression. Which is hysterical, as Tumblr has one of the richest social media demographics and all these people whining about oppression are generally upper-middle class people who've never had to work or deal with actual hardships. No wonder they can't write worth a darn, either. They don't read.

I'm not against Lady Busters but they could have chosen better actresses, I have no hopes for this movie and I can't wait for the angry fans.

Leaving aside discussions on the morality of using seriously ill children as a publicity stunt, something I've noticed in a lot of these publicity photos is that they're not actually taking them with the children. It's always a photo of the actors with some sick kid in the background, or off to the side.

I think I've seen one picture where the sick kid looked genuinely happy.

Wait... that's REAL? Those photos are actually REAL, with the REAL actors. As in, this is what the Ghostbusters Remake involves and that photo is a real op, rather than a photoshop or something along those lines.

I don't know what to say. I had a real shit opening for my birthday (tl;dr of muh :powerlevel: : utterly bombed the driver's test due to nerves and technical issues with my SUV and my lunch fell on the floor twice) and I still feel a million times worse for those poor fucking kids if THIS is what they were granted as their DYING WISH. Jesus, no one on this planet deserves that, absolutely no one. Not even ungrateful fucks like Phil or Chris.

And god damn, if THAT'S the final product of the Ghostbusters, then this actually is more of an insult than Adam Sandler's Pixels (which cost more than any of the LOTR movies if you want to cry), or the National Lampoon's Vacation remake. I can smell the cynicism and moneygrubbing from here.
