A lot of gay/lesbians fucking hate bisexuals, calling them sluts and untrustworthy. Saying they shouldn't go to Pride events if they're not currently dating someone the same gender. That it's somehow more of a privilege to be bisexual than gay/lesbian?

Truth. Straight people can be awful to bisexuals but some of the most vicious hate that I've seen towards them comes from gays and lesbians themselves. I remember when I was 12 and listening to a gay talk show host ramble on about how bisexuality didn't exist because he was convinced that all bisexuals were lying to themselves and that they're all secretly gay. Even as a 12 year old who grew up to be straight, I instantly thought he was he was full of shit.

In a sense, I kinda get why gays and lesbians might be apprehensive towards bisexuals. I'm not saying it's justified but rather a knee jerk reaction. But being apprehensive doesn't equal full on hate, of course. It's kinda sad that a movement that is supposed to spread awareness and acceptance towards non hetero sexualities is sometimes just reduced to a childish super secret clubhouse esque mentality who get butthurt when others show interest and want to join.

It's pathetic political bullshit. There's a lot of room between 1 and 7 on the Kinsey Scale and most people are somewhere in the middle, but it statistically trends vastly toward straight-ish behavior, because evolution naturally favors sexual behavior that actually leads to reproduction, even if for a variety of reasons, tendencies toward non-procreative sexual behavior have been persistent through the history of the species (and mammals in general).

It just goes to show shaming people for their entirely natural sexual behavior is nothing unique to the normies.

It's just as disgusting no matter who does it.
