I really miss that grumpy old man. Strangely my favourite video of him isn't when he was angry, it was when he was getting a snack.
Newly obtained dashcam footage shows a Portland man plowing past blockades and nearly hitting several people including small children along the Rose Festival’s Grand Floral parade route in June. Prosecutors submitted the dramatic video, taken from Sidney Mecham’s own dash cams, as evidence during an August preventative detention hearing. It shows three different angles of what happened that day. Read more: https://www.kgw.com/article/news/inve... His music blaring, Mecham heads toward the Rose Quarter in North Portland — where he had planned to meet others, including his mother. ODOT crews had blocked off numerous exits to help keep traffic away from the parade route. Mecham is heard getting agitated by the closures and heavy traffic. The video shows Mecham driving through a row of barricades and nearly hitting people along the parade route. Officers tried to stop him several times, but he got away. He eventually stopped and was arrested. Mecham pleaded not guilty to 38 counts, including felony unlawful use of a weapon and attempting to elude an officer. He's currently being held in the Multnomah County Inverness Jail.
For me, the funniest part about this is that he looks like Lowtax.https://youtube.com/watch?v=-8gMd9XZJygAngry man drives through parade and films it. Pleads not guilty. Lmao.
