The sad part is the poor minimum wage employee feels he's forced to treat this disrespectful, menacing boar with anything beyond calling the cops and throwing him out of the store. And that I bet he was reprimanded at the least for this, and possibly fired.

I wouldn't fire an employee over that. When I was a younger MD I went through similiar shit like that; fuck, total powerlevel here but I used to have long hair. Real long. One day an elderly customers comes up behind me and gets my attention by saying 'excuse me miss'. When I turned around the look on his face was priceless. I laughed it off but I could tell he was pissed at himself. Thing is I didn't lose my shit or threaten him. Accidents happen.

...I did get a haircut the next day.

Eh. My coworker misgendered someone who had a mild freak out but nobody got fired over it. We just got an email about needing to use either names or neutral pronouns on everybody.

And it really shouldn't be that way.

This whole thing is like playing pretend with a five year old. And said five year old has a rich and powerful daddy who will absolutely ruin you if you don't play exactly the way they want you to. Because they can do no wrong apparently.

Except the five year old is a grown man still playing dress up. And daddy is the government that's supposed to protect us from this kind of thing.

When I worked in walmart hell I saw a troon in the wild in the middle of Bumfuck (they're rarer than black people round these parts). It had a feminine emo haircut, a woman's shirt, seemingly boobs (that weren't moobs) and a closecut beard. Wasn't a woman with PCOS either, since it spoke in a "sissy" style. I called it "you" and hurried as fast I fucking could to get it out of the store.
