TW: Extreme TERFism led by a British transphobic gay man about a Canadian trans man who appeared at a gay businessman's association meeting. There is a very graphic discussion of trans men who have had phalloplasty at about 24:00 that is going to be very triggering for younger pre-operative trans people.
My comment:
Starting at about 6:00 you begin to ramble about how most of the time you can tell if a person is male or female and sometimes you can't and wonder if you're looking at a funny looking man or funny looking woman.
I was born hermaphroditic and surgically altered as an infant into a funny looking man with an array of metabolic dysfunctions and then forced into an unnatural gender role which resulted in serious behavioral health issues. Fortunately for me and my family, my rage was directed outward and i managed to not hurt anybody worse than i needed to escape from them.
So here you are, a limey poofter, throwing down with the gender critical , man hating, phallophobic TERFs for the social credits, getting all righteously indignant about a man with a vagina invading your sausage party.
In case you missed the memo, the true rainbow LGBTQ+ agenda is to "love all, hate none, in peace, love, unity and respect" . Everybody's gender expression is valid and everybody has the right to self determination and body autonomy. All queers have the right to define themselves and every other queer is obligated to respect their wishes about how they wish to be addressed and referred to. If you don't like it, don't look.
In localities with anti-discrimination ordinances in place, it's about hearts, not parts. In Tucson, a city where people like to celebrate diversity and wear costumes a lot, nobody cares about what you're wearing. If you're acting like a woman and are dressed like a woman, you are treated like a woman, even if it's obvious that you are a non-binary woman like myself. The same is true for non-binary men. Roll with it or roll away, dude.
I fart in the general direction of bigoted , bloviating buffoons like yourself, @mrmenno. I doubt if I'll be able to stomach listening to the rest of this whine festival.
Dig folks, medical science says that there is far too much variation to be clinging to the notion that xy=male=man and xx=female=woman. To start with, there are 6 different karyotypes and 39 intersex body variations defined, the most common one being male junk being attached to an otherwise female chassis and female bits on male chassis with no chromosomal anomalies. There is absolutely no rational reason to stigmatize effeminate males or the masculine females who choose to express as men and women.
