To save the site, that's what they need to do. Burn it all out, ban all current people contributing to the ongoing attempts to turn RationalWiki into the SJWiki, and focus entirely on debunking pseudoscience, self-diagnosis, and similar jiggery-pokery.

I've stated before I'm a progressive. I firmly believe that if the SJW movement is allowed to establish legitimacy for itself on the left, it will be the death of progressivism. The right loves to conflate the two, but they're not the same thing. I'm a firm believer in empirical proof (which makes me a pariah in SJW circles) and I don't think challenging someone's belief's is the same thing as attacking them. If a belief cannot with a challenge, it's not worth having. Rational Wiki has been corrupted from its original purpose, and I think even a purge would be too difficult at this point. Best to just set up a new site with clearly defined rules (and don't make everyone a sysop) and ban SJWs as well as conservtards on sight.

I just think it's amusing in a sad way that there are people like this who are trying to consider themselves "left." Yeah, I really don't give a crispy shit about ethics in video game journalism. The state of real journalism is sad, and no one's paying attention to it. Ever hear of Dominionism? So, after making a few changes themselves FCP has started up a dialogue on whether they should put some serious effort into purging RW of their attack articles and doxing of Conservapedia editors. I'm hoping this will turn into a real point of contention for them.

It's important to note that RW functions similar to us ; similar to any community on the internet, I suppose. It's full of cliques who hang out in their own little spaces and maybe don't interact with each other all that much. We have our hugbox spergs, our tumblr spergs, our disco spergs. They're no different. So far we've been watching the little Saloon Bar clique absolutely spit shit with retarded drama (it is incredible to me just how fiercely they all seem to hate each other) but it's important to note that there's still a strong Conservapieda-obsessed clique quietly plugging along in the background.
