Infected RationalWiki - Whiny hugbox for spergs and a clusterfuck of neverending drama on a rapidly declining website.

So what if the fork manages to avert all the drama... Wouldn't that draw many editors from RW over? And if they all go there wouldn't the drama start there just the same? Or do you think Carpetsmoker is better at drama aversion than David Gerard...

Averting drama is not that hard.

I saw the guidelines and have little faith in it.

Care to be more specific?

Meanwhile at RW, they want to purge one of Mona's detractors for being an Arisboch sockpuppet because he was arguing with Mona. http://rationalwiki.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:-Mona-&diff=prev&oldid=1634852

Actually, I suspect they think it is AvengeroftheBON who was (is) a truly whiny and incredibly awful editor, almost Lolcow material. He is vandal-binned I believe rather than banned. Arisboch is much smarter but made the cardinal sin of posting here and interacting with Kiwis.

And as Mona continues to burn down rationalwiki, das juden celebrate as their goy puppet continues to do their sinister bidding

Looks like @WhoopieDoo has decided to take down RW so he can get more users.

A database error has occurred. Did you forget to run maintenance/update.php after upgrading? See: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Upgrading#Run_the_update_script

RW is FUBAR at the moment, but I believe further up on Mona's talk page they were implying he was Arisboch due to the Kugel account copy-pasting Arisboch's signature format. Which would be a really stupid thing to do if that really is Arisboch, unless he wanted to be caught.

Avenger was really stupid. What with all the pathos and that. But somehow I miss him. Unlike Mona there was much less of a monomaniac focus on just one topic.

Another thing... If you "expose" someone as a sock of the dreaded duo of Jews Zionists, will whoever brings it up be banned because they could have only gotten that information here?

Did we miss this? A wikisperg tried to get the Wikipedia article on RW deleted last month. Nothing too exciting other than a bunch of RW spergs showing up to Keep vote.

Comment: I'm not the founder at all, where on earth did you get that from? [1] - David Gerard (talk) 17:14, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
  • This blog post describes you as "a current trustee, administrator, host and moderator of [RationalWiki] and also the founder." Obviously that's not a reliable source, my apologies if I got it wrong. Spectra239 (talk) 23:18, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
    • The blog that calls literally everyone who's ever blocked him on the web a pedophile? I'm afraid my opinion of your grasp of sourcing just went down - David Gerard (talk) 09:55, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
      • Obviously it isn't a reliable source by Wikipedia's standards; nobody ever claimed it was. Please don't bring in mostly-irrelevant off-wiki disputes, and please don't make personal attacks. You asked, and I answered, because I thought you might want to know if someone was misrepresenting you. You corrected me, and I accept the correction. Let's move on. Spectra239 (talk) 11:42, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Keep: Even though the mentions are mostly trivial, their high number shows notability. COI: I am a mod at RW. FuzzyCatPotato (talk) 01:14, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Looks like Keter is mad.

Looks like Keter is mad.

Well, someone has to do some sperging at the GG articles when Dlagondlagon ain't around there anymore.

An actually decent RW article on a potentially contentious subject? http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Red_Army_Faction what kind of sorcery is that? Let's see how long it lasts...

There are actually plenty of decent RW articles, although most of them predate its current sad state. It's sort of like TV Tropes in that respect, or even the real Wikipedia. If you paid no attention to the autistic drama and shitstorms constantly going on behind the scenes, the content is hardly uniformly terrible.

That'd cause more arguments, if the German far left would have a bigger presence there, but even now they have a lil of conspiracy theories in this article, but their USS Liberty article heads straight into tin foil hat county.

Katherine is not relevant.
The US senator is not relevant to Timeline of Gamergate, and if she was, by that logic everything online would be related to gamergate. Last I checked GG didn't set up protests outside of scientology buildings and so on. Keter (talk) 22:49, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

Apart from the fact that she is a critic of GG and their methods, and was swatted as a result of, if not that stance, then her related stances. Don't be dense. Queexchthonic murmurings 12:34, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
I'm sorry, where's the anonymous confession from GG this time? Maybe this should be added to some trawl about US senators, since she's one. She was Swatted because of her stance on swatting, don't be dense.Keter (talk) 12:40, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
And which group has a history of SWATting? It's relevant, even if not confirmed as directly related. Queexchthonic murmurings 12:44, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
much proof, many facts. Does this mean we have to include every anti-whatever advocate in here? You know Theresa May is trying to pass Snooper's charter again, let's add that.Keter (talk) 15:13, 3 March 2016 (UTC)
The reasons are now in the article, so presumably your objections are completely answered and you now understand why your analogy unfortunately leaves you appearing not to be an entirely clear thinker - David Gerard (talk) 22:50, 3 March 2016 (UTC)

Ben Wright argues that since Gamergate has a "history of SWATting" that means someone getting SWAT'd is relevant to Gamergate.

What do you mean exactly?
