Conservapedia turned into a shitfest where trolls outnumbered legit contribs 10 to 1 and Andy Schlafly being too fucking dumb to realize this.

Rationalwiki just turned into a sad ambulence chasing site with Gamergate

Interestingly the Conservapedia gamergate article is objectively better written than the Rational wiki being both overall more neutral/proffesional in tone and being more concisly written in terms of relavence to the grander scheme of things.
The same could be said of the wikipedia article on gamergate which appears to be longer than their pages for Late Roman army heavy infantry, Knights,Zorostrianism, and Humans.

I think what Gamergate really helps define for the anti-gg side in terms of people like ryulong and the other rationalwiki editors was bland, out of touch and pointless their lives are that they were proportianatly more upset about people getting poisoned pen letters than any event that cost human life in the aug-oct 2014 period.
The ones which really stand out are their isis/daesh page which is the embodyment of everything rational wiki claims to oppose is shorter and more detached in style then their Gamergate page, which is interesting considering they where at that moment setting up a rape market.

When I first visited RationalWiki, I thought it seemed prettyrational. I liked the articles debunking conspiracy theorists and religious zealots.

Then I saw the fucking BLACK LIVES MATTER article where it denounces anyone who disagrees with it and presents it as a noble civil rights movement which has been unfairly vilified by racists. Then I saw the GamerGate article which casually makes a passing reference to Brianna Wu as an innocent victim.

Embarrassingly awful.

The communism article pre-dates the rise of Social Justice and they haven't bothered editing it much.

A good chunk of the article is a rare example of truespeak amidst the fail, dating back to when non-crazy members of the left hung out there.

If you read articles on either wiki about political philosophies, you'll either find them woefully lacking or like you say ones that haven't been updated in ages. Compare this to the detailed, vitriolic hit pieces they crank out about various internet figures they don't like. Just goes to prove their ideology is more about shit slinging and name calling than actual advocacy.

In the unlikely event transgenderism is the future, it never would be. Since technological advance would either elminate the condidition prematurly or technological and sociological developments would quickly make being trans irrelivant.
Which would be bad news for the Trenders as they'd still have to deal with still being a boring dysfunctional mess after spending 100 quid to look like a demi goddess and now have nothing to blame being such a loser on.

Suppose it does, though? Suppose some time after the singularity, a sex change is as easy as buying a hamburger. You could change your appearance, your actual genome, or even turn into your fursona or whatever fucked up shit you're into. There would then be nothing unusual about it at all. How would troons cope, since they're completely addicted to shrieking about how persecuted they are. Someone who wanted to be a woman, or a man, or be either depending on what day of the week it was, could just do that.

I think troons would actually be really upset about this, because how could you be a repulsive, fat, ugly freak and claim to be persecuted for it when you could be anything else you wanted to be?
