Yeah, I don't know how much of his stuff made it onto the internet. I mostly know him from IRL stuff- books, magazine articles, newspaper mentions, etc. From a few quick searches, I couldn't find much online about his taxi drama- Maybe nothing really made it online at all? idk.
I can't remember the specifics, but I read some of his stuff- It was an entertaining read, but even to highschool-age me, it was pretty obvious he was a completely unreliable narrator. He wrote about himself like he was some cross between Crocodile Dundee, James Bond and Charles Bronson- Every woman that got in his cab was a 10/10 who was in mortal danger and ended up in his bed, and everytime he had some minor issue with Melbourne's taxi regulations (which are notoriously strict, to be fair- Uber had a bunch of problems just being loisenced to operate at all, in Melbourne), it ended up with some evil, corrupt bureaucrat sending hired goons to Hoser's house at 3 AM. He made life as a cab-driver sound like an off-brand 80s action movie.
Just from reading his books, it's hard to exactly how much of a lolcow he is, but he's definitely a huge drama-magnet, and a pretty oddball, entertaining guy. He reminds of a throwback to a certain kind of 70s/80s, self-aggrandizing Australian characters, like the
"succulent Chinese meal" guy, or a wannabe
Alby Mangles or something.
