I'm an Assassin's Creed fan, played the Ezio collection and wanted to play Unity onwards but never got around to it. I did watch walkthroughs of both games, though. His video on Assassin's Creed Syndicate wasn't good, and when ED found out he played barely an hour of it cemented the fact he had no fucking idea what the game was about. Actual players will tell you that Crawford Starrick, the big bad, was not as influential or powerful as Haytham Kenway or Charles Lee, let alone the Pope where you can repeatedly kick in the nuts in AC II. He didn't like Assassin's Creed II either, because it deviated away from the actual Assassination feel of the first game. That's a fair criticism, and the games really did go weird into the 'It's all a simulation and the Gods are real' in later games from Valhalla onwards, negating everything Desmond did to save the world (the world is actually ending in Valhalla and Mirage, because the Precursor tech did not do its job for some reason and Earth's magnetosphere is collapsing or some shit), but AC II is beloved by fans because of Ezio. Altair was a great intro with the mysteriousness of the game's plot, but Ezio was the lively protagonist in a world looking onwards and upwards from the Renaissance. IIRC, he didn't like AC3 either, and didn't play through Connor's story even though his is BY FAR the most tragic out of all the Assassins as his people were the only ones directly affected by genocide.DSP is at least funny. Danny-boy failing at games is downright depressing. I still remember his Republic Commando stream. I was yelling at the screen, because he was such a noob.
He didn't like AC4, despite that being a nice blend of pirate-based ship combat and Assassination gameplay on land. It has a touching story and Edward's story is tragic since he ended up losing everything, including his son, to Templars in the end. Actual fans like Lazerzz who made hour-long videos on each game was far fairer to the strengths and flaws of each game. Unity was HATED upon release for its incomplete graphics - you had missing heads and buggy eyes - but is now beloved for having the crispest graphics and smoothest parkour. Origins was the last game that blended both before they moved into the RPG style found in Odyssey.
I am old enough to remember when Brand was a staunch Leftist and copping for Muslims against "Islamophobia" and mass migration, only to do a 180 when 2019 came around and he started talking to guys like Jordan Peterson. In the same vein, Danny was never a Christian and frequently denounced several tenets of the Christian faith - unless it involved abortion. Then he was like Revenge of the Cis and Nick Rekeita, mocking those 'whores' for not keeping their legs closed when they were all sexual degenerates.Once again, Danny Boy is the Russel Brand of youtubers: got caught doing something sexually stupid, and crawls to the "Christians" to score a few brownie points.
If anyone here is brave enough to watch that video, report back to us about how stupid it is.
