Holes are user-bought, user-created and user-run. I have h/diocesesofrdrama and I ban Protestants, sedes and blasphemers. I don’t see the two trannies on rDrama banning people from their hole for going against their nonsense as being any different than that. A good fifth of the posts on the site are about tranny shit, what would the point of a tranny hole even be if they couldn’t run it distinctly from literally everywhere else on the site?

I neither care about nor want to see pro-trans drivel and so I clicked the big BLOCK HOLE button right at the top of the page. Unless this rage is somehow cathartic for you I would suggest doing the same.

I always thought holes were meant to filter out content and cover topic specifics (ie, if I want to hear about tech shit, I'd follow slackernews, etc etc) not to create sub-communities and echo chambers.

Oh no, only h/slavshit and h/chudrama are meant to filter. Slavshit was necessitated because shitholistanis wouldn’t stop ruining the main feed with their constant sneeding about incoherent slav gibberish, and chudrama allows us to let people post whatever they want without having to worry about deplatforming as it requires a nominal truescore requirement to view.

Holes, as I envisioned them, were supposed to be admin-created when posts about a certain subject reached critical mass and as such could then function as a standalone feed (which could be combined with the main feed should users so choose) but instead the concept was bastardized and they’re mostly just entirely voluntary places for people to post about their special interest or fetish or whatever. I really hate holes. But they’re purely optional and if people want to use them for whatever reason, that’s totally fine with me, but we don’t forcibly move anything to them aside from slavshit or existential threat level chudposts.

Some holes people have made like slackernews are decent, but most of them are basically just the new tranny hole—just dumb shit people pay 50k dc for for no reason and/or to annoy people.

I think the tranny hole was a good idea (obvs I suggested it a week ago) and while I do think it’s very funny that the troons immediately made it into another hug box I also advocate for them ban whoever they want as long as their pathetic cry posts are contained. Like I said it’s a win for everyone.
