I think it's just a purpose-made account that sends a direct message. IIRC it's supposed to look like an account that monitors for offsite "hate" in a cheeky nod to how AgainstHateSubreddits and bardfinn love LARPing as important Internet hate researchers

So to add on to @Islamic Taylor Swift 's post here about the site's pinging mechanics and my quoted post, it turns out that you can ping any redditor about anything except that when you mention the Pakis in a ping the head janny will try to secretly remove pinging abilities from your account

In the head janny's secret attempt to remove my pinging abilities, he sent me a DM by mistake instead of the guy who made the pinging bot:

Sure it's offensive, but no much more offensive than the average "kill yourself" or "i hope you get raped by niggers" pings that we see all the time, except this time round it mentions... Pakis.

For the full context of why I even mentioned Pakis in that ping:



Seems mighty reasonable to me to make that kind of offensive ping that's relevant to the topic at hand.

And the kicker to the whole thing? The redditor wasn't even able to see that comment, because it's in the "chudrama" containment zone (as deigned by said head janny to post such things in) that only regular users with a certain amount of activity would be able to see.



It could have been an amusing post about a redditor being all smug and sanctimonious over something he wasn't able to see but instead the head janny was butthurt enough that the rapey Pakis were even mentioned in that ping that he had to scheme to remove my pinging abilities
