This touches on a detail that Amby didn't mention often, which is the "IRL innawoods" shit. She never mentioned being suicidal or anything like that so I don't think she's like, dead or anything. I also don't think it's a Byuu/Puppychan situation for the same reasons.

@chiobu @Aevann1 have either of you made any form of contact with her ever since she deleted and/or abandoned all of her other accounts? She was trying to reach out for help to a few close members and now since her entire presence is gone, it's just getting really uncomfortable.

@Null - I know you don't follow this forum too closely, but TL;DR there was a cool female poster who was like a thicc Emily Youcis who got chased off by vengeful trannies during a psychotic break and is (assumed?) missing now.

There was another woman who completely disappeared after getting harassed: a user a few years ago named AndreaTwerkin. As her username suggested, like Amby, she was a TERF. Also like Amby, she contributed a lot to the website and got the standard "power user" whining treatment that anyone with an actual personality on the website gets.

I don't even know that user, but I feel like I know exactly what happened and which group (groups?) of people on that website did it by now.

Fuck, I want both of them back and everyone in the "neofoids" ping group gone. This is all a huge loss.

AndreaTwerkin left because of the abundance of woman-haters. Trannies were not a factor and her post history appears to be devoid of trannyposting.

Similarly, we’ve had a load of people threaten to leave over this. We’ve also had an endless parade of people threatening to leave over how the site worships women. I’m inclined to agree with the former demographic and we have the numbers to prove it, but the fact that both are constantly screeched about despite being polar opposites indicates we’re doing everything right. Much like the constant, contradictory meltdowns over “rDrama is too anti-tranny 😭” and “rDrama is a tranny shithole 😭”.

It never stops amazing me how the people who left Reddit two years ago over overmoderation have spent those two years clambering for more overmoderation. You really can take the redditor out of reddit but not reddit out of the redditor.

If a site gets big enough, you'll always have these people. People who want their way. Whether it's Reddit, 4chan or whatever.

If people can tell you're a woman, or a tranny, or gay, or whatever... that's your fault for blogposting or self-doxxing. You can't please everyone, and those that aren't happy can fuck off. That's not to say you can't make things easier for people - but if you hate where you're browsing, just turn 360 degrees and walk away lol.

I'm sorry you've triggered my autism. Should I add ADHD and anxiety for good measure like everyone else? But it's 180 degrees. 360 degrees returns you to the same direction. I hate that I "well ackshuallied" right now. Please be patient I have autism.

I just need a break from the userbase. I say this constantly and I think people think it’s me doing a bit, but they really are exhausting and rarely fun. I do like to see the site do well, I enjoy it as a concept because seeing something I helped create thrive is satisfying, so I’ve obviously still been doing stuff with Aevann and engaging in little meta-interactions like this and I don’t mind that. I do need some time away from the tedium of actually being on the site, though. Internet is meant to be fun.

For the short time I was a janny on Reddit, my little sub of about 10 regulars and 100 trolls had at least a half dozen people telling me if I didn't ban someone they didn't like they were leaving. Happened in Discord too and was a big reason why I stopped going to Discord. I'd go to enjoy chit chatting with a few people and it would be nothing but fighting and people threatening to leave, so I can't imagine my problem times 10000 on rdrama.

Some of the shit you say makes me mad, but 99% of the time I am always joking with you and appreciate the things you do. In private, I'm a carp simp tbh. Besides, getting mad at you gives me the opportunity to go poke holes in my carp vooodooo doll.
