Given the high amount of ragequits this year, I would like to suggest a clock saying something like "It has been xx:xx:xx since Phil has ragequit a game."

Yes someone else suggested something similar. But I don't know how to best implement it.

I could either make a dedicated/locked thread and keep it pinned and just update that.
Or we'd have to get a mod/admin to edit the info/rule text.

So I'm more than happy to help make it happen, just not sure what the best way would be.

It might be funny to make some sort of addition to the DSP Tries It: Politics OP, stating how:

the guy who spurred the creation of the thread in the first place flipped-his-shit within a couple posts, then bitched about Kiwi Farms to DSP on Twitter.

It's like the thread was built over the corpse of an infidel. We must hang his cursed skull at the entrance to ward off other dark spirits.

More practically speaking, it'd warn thread posters that seriously discussing politics on the internet will most likely trigger chimpy behaviour.

Got another poll idea:

What will get DSP permabanned from Twtich?
-Harassment of other people/streamers
-Begging/Fundraising
-Shit talking Twitch and its employees
-Other

I was gonna suggest "Will DSP get banned from Twitch this year?" but then his second suspension happened, and it's obvious now that it's a question of "when" not "if."

Shouldn't the subforum be given a more appropriate name? Something along the lines of Punished Phil - a streamer denied a platform, at least when and if he finally gets banned for good from Twitch.

Just to let you all know i'll be handing in my supervisor powers in about a weeks time because I've grown bored of DSP. I'll still be on KF but my involvement in the DSP subforum will be dramatically reduced.

I'm not sure if there will be a replacement supervisor or what exactly is gonna happen.

Was a good run. Props for getting out of this tornado of autism and getting so much done around here in all these months, man

I will be sad to see you go, you deserve a medal for sticking around this long in the DSPhere, having anything to do with Phil, the biggest autism magnet in history, will drive us all insane eventually.

Tbh I'm a big believer that less is more when it comes to micromanaging forums. Most places I'm at go through kicks between indifference where the mods constantly try to steer the conversation and shift around threads and split off subforums to no perceptible benefit. Just somebody removing obvious spam and the organization of the DSP saga to make it easier to find different events is good, I think there is some merit to the different forums for the major events for ease of reference like has been happening lately but I'm not sure if that is the best way to go about it. Otherwise a hands off approach is best. KF is not some private club or organized entity with a code of honor and should not be treated as such.

Thanks for all the hard work, it's a very understandable decision given the heavy autism you have to deal with here.

slight change of plans. I'm now a mod and I'll be working to choose another supervisor for this subforum. I'll have to get them to sign an NDA and then groom them with homemade meals before abandoning them.

(I'll still be dramatically reducing my interest in DSP when the time comes)

If you're interested in being a supervisor or have someone to suggest plz DM
