I prefer both paperbacks and ebooks. I mostly read on the kindle app because of convenience, most of the time my phone is already in my hand.

Sometimes I carry a paperback in my purse to read while on the train, hardcover books usually don't fit in my purse as easily.

I read PDFs/EPUBs only when I can't get it anywhere else or am only a little curious about it and don't feel like paying for it.
I remember reading The Fall Into Time and Sun & Steel digitally for this reason. It's easier to share with people if you do any sort of e-book clubs.

I prefer paperbacks the majority of the time because I take them everywhere and can beat on them and mark them up without a second thought. When I really like one I'll get a hardcover though, or receive them as gifts.

I hate hardcovers.

My favorite are used mass market paperbacks, especially with creased covers and the old book smell.

Not a big fan of hardcovers for actually reading tbh. Paperbacks are max comfy, but I'm fine with digital books. They're not ideal but I'm on limited space and budget.
