As for the content of the levels, I guess there's a point to be made, but Neon, for example,
is directly inspired by real life events, and it is clear to me that they are trying to pay respect to the reality of the incidents. A lot of people died those days, and that's just the reality of the situation. I don't understand how trying to be faithful to incidents like that in a game that is clearly trying to pay homage to police work can be brushed off as "edgy for the sake of it" when it clearly wants to highlight the horrific nature of the job.
And some are clearly here for the sake of the wider narrative with the MLO, but I wouldn't say thats any worse than SWAT 4 putting in a mission where a Terror cell raids a Biotech Research station to make a point about Biotechnology as a whole. (I liked that mission, FWIW.)
