He was an asshole even in his childhood.

Brian "Fatass" Stuart said:So, I'm watching this movie and it is quickly established that one of the lead characters is fat. Fine, no problem with that. Then, it is also quickly seen that this is him in the past, and now he's thin. As the movie progresses, it pretty clearly establishest that his weight was a physical manifestation of his emotional problems and now that he's moved past it, he's thin. Its all very "mature" rather than the vacantness of, say, Amercian Sweethearts.
I find it just as offensive.
In the first place, its lazy filmmaking. They are using fat as shorthand for emotional problems. It almost doesn't need to be said that his fat is a reflection of some psychological damage, but they say it anyway. As if everything in life can be easily explained through psycho-babble. Which really isn't the point of the film at all, except about fat.
Now, I might be okay with this if it was an occassional portrayal of fat characters, but this is it. This is the only portrayal, and that makes it a reflection of bigotry. Fat people are so narrowly defined on film that it becomes easy for people to see in such a one-dimensional manner. Hell, just watch Oprah or Dr. Phil. Fatness is regarded as an easy question. Clearly, we've got emotional problems. After all, the movies said so. Its insulting, and it is frustrating, because this is damn near IT.
Not much else to say. Just wanted to vent as yet another movie uses my body as shorthand.

Looking at his photos I wouldn't call him fat because although he seems to be overweight it doesn't seem to be the first notable thing about him. If he weren't always calling himself fat I probably wouldn't noticeView attachment 75942
He really wants us to not forget he's fat
I was trying to look for that. Thank you.He had a thread on him on /cow/ last year as well, no wonder that he seemed familiar :

I'm legit surprised he hasn't gotten more exposure yet. He does come off as that kind of guy that 8Chan, /cow/ and ED would mock regularly over his stupid opinions, overall appearance and childish behavior.I was trying to see if there was anything about red3blog over at 8chan and /cow/. I didn't find anything, just these tweets.

He's also been ridiculed by Reddit's Fat People Hate subreddit.
I love that a depressed fatass is complaining that a film portrayed a fatass as depressed.http://red3.blogspot.sg/2003/08/shorthand-fat.html?m=0

I would think maybe he slathers it on the bottom of the bread to make it crispier or something because I can't for the life of me figure out what other use he'd have for it.This may be a weird thing get to get hung up on, but in that last picture: how much butter does he use to make a pizza?! I can see using some if you're making the crust from scratch, but it looks like he plans on using french bread for that. So where is all the butter going?
He needs to eat a Big Mac and calm the fuck down.
