He made the website because reddit's rules for content were too restrictive. Like any spin-off site, the only people who are gonna be on it are the people too spastic to fit in even with the loose rules of the regular sites they splinter off from (see: rdrama, patriots.win, any of the leftoid lemmy instances, etc). Then he advertised his new site in, among other places, r/the_boglim, where the most ridiculous Cobra alogs give each other ass pats for alogging. Looking at it charitably, if he'd started the site as a well-intentioned but retarded fan, which I don't think is the case regardless, there's only one way it was gonna end up and I'm glad it's gone now rather than having festered.
Even if you take the view that it would've ended up as a good hub for new Cobra content like the art posts that used to get posted on r/kingcobrajfs, I don't think that holds up, because the admin was clearly retarded and immediately nuked the entire thing as soon as someone looked at his reddit profile for 5 minutes. There is simply no benefit for it to have existed.
