Anyone advocating for socialism is a simpleton. It hasn't worked in any country that's tried it.

The same goes for communism, but those statistics are even worse and the consequences were/are disturbing. I know technically socialism and communism have some differences, but arguing their differences is like arguing the different between poop and puke.

A whopping 40 countries tried communism in the past (it failed and the country was a shithole) and 5 still practice communism (the country is a currently a shithole). This number disturbingly isn't an exaggeration either, see for yourself.
