don't forget gems like "professors won't mentor women anymore" or "wall street execs are advised to follow pence" meaning less contact with female employers and colleagues, thus reducing changes for networking and promotion.Kind of reminds me of how the media tore up Mike Pence for having the audacity to say that he would never be in an unprofessional setting with a woman without his wife present. And of course, bitches went wild.At the height of the "Metoo"
boogaloomovement, hitpieces like this were constantly being excreted out by the usual suspects. On one hand, you had these women bring up decades old allegations that wereprobably not true"forgotten about" until, conveniently enough, just before something important like a supreme court nomination hearing, election campaign, or multi-million dollar movie deal was about to happen. Yet a guy outright says that he will not put himself in the position to be accused of something like that, and is STILL raked across the coals.
And of course that post was in 2x, so the hivemind was probably a bunch of women and "women" egging her on to go to HR, calling for the dismantling of the patriarchy, and the offending man somehow being a rapist worse than Hitler all in one.![]()
the fuck did those women expect?
the creepy loner accusation doesn't work since he's apparently on pretty good terms with the other guys who can vouch for him.Honestly, they're both doing it wrong. The woman for obvious reasons but with the man, he's playing it too cold and obvious. The solution to making HR stay off your back is to get a woman involved platonically. If you can judge the right candidate and strictly keep it on a friendly basis then you'll typically placate the women in general. Otherwise, they'll start getting tense and you see the HR scenario here, just like with countless instances.
