VIDYA SPERG TIME! I recently played Xcom, and the conclusion I came to is that light cover trumps a higher defense stat in the majority of cases. Related to above, explosives ignore the defense stat. I assume this to partially be the case IRL.

Literally front page this morning from the TwoX fanfic factory:

Of course not one comment suggesting that this hilariously on-the-nose story about a cartoon villain as told by a 3-month old sleeper account might not be 100% true.

Fictionkin/Godspousing/Etc. have been a thing since at least the early 2000s. It probably influenced some of Chris' ideas.
