If you filter posts by most recent in left-leaning subreddits like publicfreakout, you see a lot more diversity of opinion. There's probably some vote-weighing and shadowbanning shenanigans going on. In the past couple years the tenor of certain subs I looked at occasionally suddenly shifted in a way that seems really artificial.

Obviously, there is no issue when AHS is doing it to get subs banned for retrospective comments, but when T_D does it it's time to shut the entire site down. This isn't the first time it's been done BTW, the creator has removed the option to search by user some time ago, again to combat those pesky T_D trolls.

Like, look, stupid, you made a tool that allows people to search for specific keywords in specific user's histories, included anything they might've deleted. Literally everyone using it is just trying to find dirt on someone they don't like or stalk. Shutting the side down every time "bad actors" use it is retarded, you might as well shut it down permanently.

IIRC this site worked when he messed with the search in the past, but I guess he didn't take down the API itself, just the website back then.

For the time being then, this works https://redditcommentsearch.com/ , albeit it's far less advanced and I have no idea if it searches deleted content too.
