I lean more towards :optimistic:. I genuinely would prefer to not assume negative thoughts in someone.

In the end, I can also only speak for myself. I just don't have the energy to fight endless invisible wars. It just isn't healthy for the mind. Regardless of what some retard in the office says, I'm at my job to do my best. This is just a bump in the road I would rather not have. In the end, I just want to see more women in my office (given that they're qualified of course) and less "how do you do fellow women" dudebros. I just can't relate to troons and I get excited seeing people like me, who also share the same passion. There are some things that are harder for men to relate to than women, like discussions of makeup application or hair care techniques. I find it easier to connect with women on that regard, though I often find myself connecting with men easier on tech discussions.

Reddit has banned its largest antivaxx subreddit NoNewNormal after weeks of conflict between admins (who work for Reddit, and refused to ban it) and moderators (who sought its ban).

The community was banned for "brigading," or sending users to other communities to push agendas.

Reddit's volunteer moderators and the vast majority of the site's users once again have been fighting head-on with the company's CEO, this time over the proliferation of COVID disinformation.

This is just deflection on Reddit's part. Everyone who has been following this ordeal now knows Reddit and the League Trolls are working hand-in-glove and that it was a Reddit insider - namely Nika Dyen their "internal communications manager" - who brought in the League Trolls to Reddit HQ, thus giving them a carte blanche to nuke any subreddit they request to have suspended.

BTW, literally every post in a transgender subreddit urging people to self-medicate with hormones from the darknet would arguably fall under the new rule change he's highlighting in the above tweet. Just look up any reference to darknet hormones in virtually any transgender subreddit and take it from there.

The main criticism with abstinence comes from the same 60s Rockefeller thinktank that came out with about 20 suggestions on how to reduce population growth, 16 of which have since become reality (longer education for women, de-emphasizing building a family in culture, making birth control and abortion as freely available as possible, career goals for women, promoted homosexuality and so on).

In more recent examples of the same goals include ubiqutous internet porn and specific marketing attacks when things like anti-fap pops up its head.

The common folk that have embraced the idea you posit, that promotion of abstinence leads to increased teen pregnancy, whereas as promotion of birth control doesn't, seems to be to ring at least half false. Because whenever I have an in depth conversation in person with someone like that, they really seem to cheer on the idea of teens having sex together as early as possible, as the epitome of freedom and happiness.

I can't say that I didn't enjoy my own participation in this practise at the time, but looking back on it makes it a very hollow and hedonistic experience in the larger scheme of things.

Maybe there is more to this idea that's pushed from the same camp that was for free speech until they had dominance.
