From an energy topic about the mess Germany has found itself in and how some sides seem to be arguing for (demanding) a perfect solution. (i.e. anything short of solar/wind will take too long, cost too much, not be perfect etc etc.. in a discussion about NOT CLOSING down perfectly good nuke plants early and thus adding like ~30% more to their gas needs in the middle of an emergency gas/energy shortage.. With OC your usual mix of people who have no fiucking clue how things work, arguing that solar/wind has "already" replaced the need for nuclear.. Without ever realizing that no, coal and gas is what has replaced nuclear 90% of the time.)



Are modern europeans always this.. colorful with each other?

Japan and Korea are fair points but China isn't a high trust society. It just seems like it is because anyone who steps out of line mysteriously disappears in the middle of the night like all totalitarian regimes.

What are the chances that he actually just "found" this piss bottle inside of the attic of a house that he just bought instead of this and just mistakenly thought it was aged rum instead of just being another deviant Redditor with a bizarre, disgusting fetish?

It's piss for sure. But did the Redditor really just stumble upon a piss jug that he naively mistook for aged rum that the previous owners just forgot to throw away or is just being another Reddit weirdo who filled this up himself for a fetish or attention or whatever strange reason?

The only people who think China is a high-trust society are tankies.

The harmonious society where a driver will run over a guy again to make sure he's dead since paying a death settlement to the family is cheaper than paying medical bills.

So, today I was bored and spent a couple hours playing a low effort agar.io clone I saw advertised on the main agar.io website. What interested me is that the player characters in this game are given the unfortunate name of "diggers."

Upon starting the game you are prompted to give your "digger" a nickname. Now, you don't have to be a genius to figure out what happens next. Reddit is, predictably, very up in arms about this and demand the dev to add a name censor.

Which is why I try to speedrun being banned from subreddits.
