Holding onto perspective is usually quite helpful:
From an energy topic about the mess Germany has found itself in and how some sides seem to be arguing for (demanding) a perfect solution. (i.e. anything short of solar/wind will take too long, cost too much, not be perfect etc etc.. in a discussion about NOT CLOSING down perfectly good nuke plants early and thus adding like ~30% more to their gas needs in the middle of an emergency gas/energy shortage.. With OC your usual mix of people who have no fiucking clue how things work, arguing that solar/wind has "already" replaced the need for nuclear.. Without ever realizing that no, coal and gas is what has replaced nuclear 90% of the time.)
Are modern europeans always this.. colorful with each other?
