Yeah they really only are validated to take the edge off severe depression (and kick people with a manic-depressive gene they otherwise may have never noticed into some degree of mania, which is unhelpful at best.) I think someone did a general look at reddit admins and the general userbase, but it was literally the men lack testosterone and the women are obese. I think besides the founder who killed himself and one other who fucked off from Silicon Valley, they selectively chose terminally online assholes to be power mods. That means fat shut-ins who's bitch-tits give them more estrogen than the average teenage girl.
