Ugh, Reddit couldn't be anymore phallocentric. Would banning small penis jokes make you feel better, /u/Lovidet98?:

"How to solve this?":
Just keep banning more women like reddit has been doing for years. Literally saw a lesbian get suspended by preddit admins last month for simply stating she didn't like dick.
Eh, some of his points aren't wrong when it comes to overall internet discourse, but counterpoint: who gives a fuck what retards online say.

As to Reddit specifically though they do probably hate men, because Reddit hates everyone. It's a hive of some of the most bitter, unhappy, lost people you'd ever meet. The only time they'll claim to like or support anything is if they believe it will actively hurt someone/something they feel threatened by.
Even the transexuals clearly hate each other and root for each other to fail, the only reason people claim to support trans rights is because it's a cudgel to use against anyone who you resent, including families with children and people who aren't miserable in general.

Reddit troons are living in an alternative dimension where women boxers are beating men lol

That's why i say it's stupid to make any categories for them, just let them into men & women category, I'm sure many will love to see a ftm trans beat up a woman.

It's already proven, if you seek on Youtuber Lawrence Kenshin, he often post boxing mma related stuffs, look for the woman champion muay thai fighter.
That woman was so strong and undefeated, so what's next for her? Yeah, fighting men.

So they find someone rank 50+ something to fight the undisputed champion of the women division, and guess what? Wrong guesses only please...

It was a tko, and he wasn't even being aggressive, all he did was clinch that woman, and she gassed out. That's why I can't wait for a tyson to uppercut trans, I'm sure it will be great for the ratings.

lol

Buuttt my Reddit Comrades told me AI was good , becauce it will allow us to create fully automated gay space communism. So we all can just consume and make art after revolution.

It is funny how redditors thought automatisation will first replace complex jobs. And not "artists".

The professional computer-touchers at reddit are involved in an industry that is essentially creating its own replacement. I remember getting into an argument on some sub about how a hard-skill/trade was going to be more valuable that programming going forward because AI was going to decimate tech sector jobs once it became properly viable.

Alao the entire thing with "small penis shaming" is definitely hypocritical because no way would Reddit allow similar comments about women. "Loose vagina energy", etc. The closest thing there is to a female body shaming sub is r/fatlogic which has admittedly gotten really shitty and turned into FPH2.0.

It's funny to see it all coming from "progressives".

This whole backlash to the digital AI art shit (and to a lesser extent GPT-3/ChatGPT, at least for now) is deeply confusing to me. Here you have tools that are well on their way to eliminating the pointless busywork between imagining something and actually manifesting that thing into reality. And rather than be happy in the same way that I imagine a lumberjack was the moment the chainsaw was invented, instead you've got these artists drawslaves taking unreasonable pride in the busywork, for whatever reason.

It's ludicrous to me. It'd be like if the original programmers got all bitchy because these "fucking newfangled text editors and compilers" had made all that time spent learning how to work a switchboard or punch holes in FORTRAN card decks worthless. (Or, for that matter, the contemporary wave of programmers that think automation is going to put them out of a job, as if actually writing code hasn't always been the shittiest part of software development.)

The people complaining are, by and large, lazy fucks who "mastered" samefacing their way through a dozen sameface commissions a day, don't have any talent to do any better, and are on top of that too dumb to actually use the AI themselves. The main thing AI is currently excelling at, without putting a lot of effort into it, is generating exactly that kind of interchangeable slop.

Anyone actually using it as a tool to create something genuinely good has put effort into it, something these "artists" will never do.

Bonus points if they actively go out of their way to harass anyone actively improving or trying new artstyles to see what works for them AND mentions a pointless LARP about a schrodinger's husband at random several times in any given comment section.

>sports were segregated between men and women because women started beating the men and the fragile men couldn't have that at all

100% agree. we should immediately desegregate all the sports, it would be an epic own against the moids in the name of feminism and equality!

The thing I never get with this response - and I'm seeing it everywhere, from both sides - is that does nobody actually enjoy drawing?

The actual process of drawing, or painting - whatever - is enjoyable. It's meditative. It's enjoyable in terms of the finished product, it's enjoyable in terms of observing your own skill level improve and increase over time. Everyone discussing the AI art stuff - people with artistic skill and those without - talk about it as if it's some terrible hardship being inflicted on them. AI has also started writing music, but I don't see musicians freaking out about it, or allowing it to take away what it is they love about playing.

I get why people without the ability to draw anything might think this, but it's bizarre that people with some skill think the same way.

I feel sorry for women tbh. They fought hard to create separate, gender-based leagues so they can compete in those sports and now mediocre men want to switch gender and take their spots.

at this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if we see even more trans women in sports in few years because it's way more financially lucrative to be #1 "woman" in weightlifting than a no-rank man. Every time I see a transgender athlete winning a tournament, it's always a man beating women, not the other way around.

Because they're lolcows like Andrew Dobson, who like the idea of being a fartist more than actually doing it.

It just seems so utterly backwards, and people like that deserve to have their livlihoods/grifts decimated.

Photography already went through this, more or less. Before digital photography arrived, wedding photographers used to get away with daylight robbery in terms of what they charged - and even when you paid, you wouldn't get all the photographs they took. Now that's all been upended, yet photographers somehow found a way to continue making a living.

I think I just take issue with the argument that AI art takes away the "hardship" of creating art. AI doesn't lessen my enjoyment of sitting in a park with a sketchbook on a nice day, it doesn't take away any of the pride I feel when I master some new technique. It certainly doesn't take away my ability to use it as an exercise in self-reflection.

Even then, you don't have to be "good" to enjoy drawing. Ralph Steadman had a great quote about embracing your mistakes - and just learning to "enjoy taking a line for a walk". When you look at his work, it's arguably full of "mistakes", but that's what makes it so unique and compelling. It's also what makes artistic expression different to chopping down trees, or programming. There's never going to be anything compelling, self-reflective or beautiful about failing to chop down a tree, or writing a bad line of code.
