If they wanted it to make sense they would try to cut out the first part. Because it's the wo part (from the Saxon Wifa/Old English Wifman, meaning woman) and not the man (contraction of Manna or human) that refers to their sex.

But you shouldn't expect feminist linguists to care about linguistics. They just care about being offended.

There are many Indian expats here with high paying jobs and they tend to hire their own people from back in India who might not be qualified, which doesn't sit well with people here who have the concept of meritocracy instilled in them, so locals would definitely perceive them as stealing job opportunities.

This has been a concern for a long while even before Covid, and when the Delta wave hit our borders were left open much more than usual to them when usually they get shut down almost instantly to other countries, hence another wave inevitably hit.

Jobs + new Covid caused by India probably meant more tensions I guess, so people kept bringing up the trade agreement with examples of how tilted it was to India's benefit and all, r/singapore being cucked even more than average reddit feared racism or someshit and filtered the keyword. Someone only found out when they were trying to post about how the agreement was going to be debated in parliament - you can see how retarded it is that something like a debate in parliament gets censored.


There's a lot more cuckery that happens in r/singapore like people saying sorry for being racist too lol

Seeing people whine about racism sucks because people here play along and get along well, and the men of all races bond especially well during the 2 years they're conscripted for, so seeing BLM style anti-racism shit in Singapore makes one seethe.

I like how upset he is about the website that tells you if you're in a dangerous vax batch or not. Does he not know that this is exclusively based on drug company statistics for adverse events? All those deaths and injuries can be meticulously fact-checked if he wants.

The level of hall monitoring to prevent inconvenient facts from being seen is beautiful. Especially since even reddit doesn't care to help him.
