If the industry is so vital why doesn't the government force the rail companies to accept a deal? Instead of forcing the workers to have next to little work life balance?

You know, I actually don’t hate your argument. I think the government should have made the rail companies agree on things that are good for workers.

However, the problem is that most rail unions agreed on the original deal and a minority did not. These minority unions could possibly hold the nation hostage.

By that logic, any one labour union could have the ability to threaten the entire US economy—especially the big ones.— just because they want one certain thing.

There is a balance to be had here. It’s hard to find this balance but possible (I think, anyway).

I've given my two cents on this before and I'll do it just for you too :)

When troonism started to rear its ugly head, so too did diaper niggers.

It only makes sense, the skinny of it is that they're both consoomerist identities requiring a buy-in, a small special group of people who will reinforce it and the want to be "special".

Both stem from mental illness, both groups go hand in hand with public degeneracy and demand of acceptance and validation by all.

At the start they made good horror and schizo cows - now they're a dime a dozen. But that doesn't mean that one doesn't burn brighter than the rest from time to time.

I read the post - it's utter lunacy that a young adult man wears diapers to hide his genitals to feel like a woman. It screams inability to accept reality and he'll end up butchering and infecting himself from his two unnatural, atypical intrests. When he wakes up from his delusions if he has the sense to he'll be alienated by the people that encouraged his illness and he will have alienated himself from normies due to his unnatural attractions and ideas. There is no winning for him, only losing.

How the fuck did we get here?

Ironically, given what I just said, it's likely because of sex education at too early an age. Introducing pre-teens to the concept of sex (never mind peculiarities like gay sex), in such a structured and authoritative environment, is going to give them very odd ideas anyhow it works. In times past, kids would learn about sex organically, either because they lived in a single-room hovel, or because they worked on a farm.

Having someone awkwardly wrap a dildo (or banana) in a condom, then start waxing lyrical about fisting, would fuck anyone up. Kids in particular are going to hyperfocus on the topic, because that's just how children work, especially when they're low-key traumatised.

Disagree. I say its unmonitored internet access and parents' ignorance of this. Mom and Dad fear their son asking his crush for boob pics, unaware he's actually jacking it to super weird porn. Just look at all our furry kiwis. They know what's up.

I see your logic and I agree that holding the nation hostage isn't an ideal outcome. Just look at the coverage of the Canadian trucker protests especially the portion that blocked the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor Ontario. The busiest border crossing in the world.

Protests are meant to force someone to their knees to negotiate.

Therefore you have to look and determine if their demands are reasonable. The side of the workers is not about money it's more about not being demeaned at work for taking sick days and having time with their families. I believe that their demands are reasonable and therefore if the government were to intervene they should intervene on the side of the workers instead of Industry groups / Rail Companies.

From the company perspective is it cheaper to pay overtime or to hire and train more workers? Paying overtime is cheaper just it turns the workplace into a meatgrinder where people are constantly working (think Big4 Accounting firms and BigLaw where people are working 70-80 hour weeks).
