The best reddit teacher stories is when leftie white teachers who never shut up about diversity being a strength and "equity" decide to go teach in an inner city school because they think they can really help and it just mentally breaks them with a forced redpill suppository. Their idealist liberal arts school view of disaffected young poor children just not getting the right helping hand shatters and they start to realize blacks don't learn in the same way whites do. It makes me smile.I love lurking the Teacher's subreddit occasionally, plenty of accidental race realism, bashing of "social emotional learning" and overly idealistic DEI standards plus the occasional "the kids are changing their pronouns every week" posts.
