It's not so much that the system that needs change. It's perfectly possible to have an interesting community on Reddit, although those are a dying breed nowadays. Reddit has a number of powerful and flexible tools for mods to use, and there are (on paper) ways to get around the downsides, such as making an alternative subreddit.
It's just fucking corruption, through and through. No vote brigading - unless you're a lefty sub, then it's allowed. No racial discrimination, unless you're /r/BlackPeopleTwitter, then it's allowed. No self-promotion, unless you're a corporation that pays money to astroturf, then it's allowed.
Rules that make sense (such as no death threats) are applied inconsistently. If you're the wrong kind of person you can't even joke about it. If you're the right kind of person, by all means keep wishing death on Trump/Putin/J.K Rowling. The same with illegal activities, and doxing, and hacking, and ban evasion. To say nothing of admins outright colluding to destroy certain subreddits.
There's nothing at this point that can make Reddit a good website, but it would be a halfway decent one if they actually followed the system they built, instead of wielding it selectively to fuck people over.

One of the things that horrified me most about reddit corruption was when I was lurking around I read some complaints about how admins/mods basically require a number of "approved moderators" (aka. your bardfinns) to be on the list for any subreddit decently popular. So even if you don't want to deal with powermod bullshit in your sub you still have to give them powers to ruin your sub at a moment's notice or get banned.
I can't find evidence for this unfortunately as this was mostly me reading posts from mods from smaller subs complaining or just people complaining at r/declineintocensorship a year or so ago now. One thing I will say is checking out reclassified on reddit shows endless amounts of subs banned (mostly small and inactive subs or random porn shit) for being "unmoderated". Would make a fair bit of sense that reddit would crack down banning any dead or small subreddit if they want the elite troons to have a tendril in everything.

It's barely a W on his part. If you read his opinion on the comic he concedes that JK Rowling's "comments" have caused "damage" so he doesn't want to separate the art from the artist. The only reason he's getting dragged through the mud is for pointing out the truth--no matter what, buying or not buying the game will be interpreted as a grand statement of moral and political values. Woketards hate pointing out when something is political, they want others to think being outraged about vidya is something normal people do.
I always find it funny when people claim we "hate" on others. The point of this site is to laugh and anybody who gets MATI instead is laughed at too. Hate is reserved only for morally depraved cows like zoosadists and child groomers, who coincidentally have strong overlaps with trannies, furfags and autists. Also, if you don't want to be doxed, don't share personal information on the Internet, simple as.

the obvious solution would be for his parents to take an active role in actually raising the boy and guiding him through adolescence, but this being the feminism subreddit, they're probably too busy being strong independent career womyn to pay attention to their children, and if they did they'd more likely than not just sabotage him by feeding him self destructive beta cuck ideas - the sister already mentions trying to tell him to "be more feminine" which would be a recipe for disaster if he accepted it, so maybe the parents being neglectful is a blessing in disguise.
the only hope for him at this point is that maybe he's smart enough to eventually see through the fake alpha bullshit of redpill youtube gurus on his own, without falling for the trannification attempts of his family either. dude's gonna have a hard life.

Mentioning controversial just reminded me of something.
Reddit mods hate the fact that "controversial" sort is a thing because it allows users to see stuff that cuts through the groupthink. I remember seeing a pro china subreddit use the custom rss to explicitly hide the controversial sort button, which is fitting for a sub thats sucking off the CCP

there have been known gay ops by people on terf forums, where they intentionally post over the top absurd tranny shit on tranny reddit to see how much support it gets from the trannies there
to figure out whether this is a gayop or legit, you would have to look at the accounts post history, but the account name is hidden in your screenshot so we'll never know

I have found rando subs to be based despite their size. r/PublicFreakout, r/IdiotsInCars, r/Walmart. I was laughing my ass off reading about some commentator in one of those subs mentioning why is it always niggers ruining shit and they were mostly upvoted with their supporters. I had the smallest sliver of hope for Reddit then, but then remembered the CCP also hates niggers so lolololol.

I'm positive that story was posted somewhere in this thread a while back, maybe about a year ago. If I recall correctly people dug through the person's post history and found that they actually were a deranged tranny who had other similar posts and I believe there were even pictures of the person. I'm not sure how to find it though.
However if that's a new reddit post, then there might be terfs spreading the original.
He also got some flack for going to brothels.
He's an idiot and an absolute pussy with no integrity though so I'm sure the obese Reddit feminists do think he's an ideal male role model.
Meanwhile guys like Sam Hyde who are actually willing to train and step into the boxing ring rather than just acting like a tough guy and treating the whole thing like a fashion show, and who Hasan runs away from like a little bitch, you definitely don't want to emulate them (although something is seriously wrong if a kid is turning to e-celebrities as role models to begin with).

/r/purelivingonyoutube has gone private. It is (was?) a subreddit to cynically discuss the YouTube channel Pure Living For Life. Said channel recently posted a video about all the evil harassers doxxxXxxxxing and stalking them after going (relatively) silent for quite some time. Wish I knew more details about what was going on so I could post them, but I only recently learned about the YouTube channel, never mind the subreddit.
Apparently there's considerable doubt about whether or not they're actually living in the house they're building, to what extent they truly off-grid/on-grid/whatever grid, etc. In essence the haterz seem to be claiming the whole channel is a scam. Like I said, don't know the details myself since I only recently learned about all of this, but there seems to be a lot of drama inherent in this situation.
