The main subs which are taken over by companies are fandom subs like r/StarTrek. If subs like r/CVS were owned by anyone they would be immediately shut down because they're like CoonTown but for conglomerates instead of groids.
 
It's not Pride Month, not quite, but MtFSelfieTrain has decided to deprive its delicate flowers from the public because of the HATE. The unrelenting hatred and genocide. Not because they don't want the extra attention they're sure to get during Pride Month (may it always be whispered with holy breath). They receive support from the adult baby diaper lovers community. Redditors are ENRAGED about the injustice.


 
Not sure if this was posted, but it's an interesting watch and shows why Reddit is shit. Basically the guy who made Wall Street Bets, the sub reddit responsible for the whole Gamestop thing and more had all his shit stolen by Reddit, including the sub reddit itself, simply for daring to try to trademark the name with no intent to pressure Reddit with that.

Reddit says you will own nothing and you will be happy.

Anything related to gaming too especially if people are getting too uppity about a long standing franchise being made overtly politicized. In recent memory the sub for Saints Row got flooded with shilling conveniently when people were hating on the new game and though I'm unsure who was originally in charge the publisher Volition definitely took the reigns to make sure only the positive attention remained.

I find it hilarious Jewgle says right before the video "Contains paid promotions and ads" not only for those sponsoring the Youtuber, but ads by the company itself.

So Youtube is paying this guy to show d0xxed info about Preddit mods and admins. Now if only Youtube and Google admins got the same treatment.

I've had threads deleted on reddit, and the subreddit mod told me privately, it wasn't his decision, the site mods came over the top and did it.

So not only do you have the subreddit mods that may be employees of certain companies or industrys, controlling discourse. You also have the head guys who will act if enough redditors spam reports.

/r/semaglutide is a weird one and I'm not sure what to make of it.

You've got kind of obvious corporate shills and then weird fucking redditors who are way too into women shitting themselves (semaglutide can cause overflow diarrhea.) Some people are buying bootleg semaglutide salts from China, etc.

The whole thing is like distilled Reddit.

Yes, there are a shit ton of spoiled, entitled people out there, (and the poly orgy lego-collecting gamer-types definitely exist) but in my personal experience there really is a unique level of fuckery among American Boomers that you don't see among the older OR YOUNGER generations.
I've been lucky enough to be close to some WWII people before they died and some Silent Generation people now, and they do not act like the boomers. It's significant, too. I have only ever met a handful of boomers who act like what I see among their elders and - perhaps more interestingly - the parents younger than they are.
It's in everything. It's in how they talk about thier children as people, how they talk about finances, how they talk about entertainment, etc. it's something different that permeates the whole generational culture.

Theyre spoiled. Boomers genuinely had the peak of human experience and it shows. Silent generation and prior had to deal with the shadows of WW2 and the lingering effects of the depression and Gen X wanted to be anything but their parents so their attitude grew as a direct response to it. Boomers just had shit handed to them and you can see it in how they budget and preen themselves. Theyre like a prototype for what people were supposed to be like in a post WW2 world.

Out of everything that doesn't happen, this doesn't happen the most. No school taking a fieldtrip anywhere is just going to leave kids unattended and tell them "Bus leaves at 7, be there or be square because we be peelin' out at 7." Doesn't matter if it's to Disney World or to the local public park. Doesn't matter if your daughter is a downie or not, the school isn't going to let the kids go anywhere but the bathroom without an adult accompanying them. Doesn't matter if your kid is a friendless loser, or with a group of their 20 closest friends, there is going to be at least one adult with them. The chaperones aren't going to leave without doing several headcounts to make sure everyone is accounted for. Regardless of all that, if your daughter is retarded enough that she doesn't know who her wrangler is and just goes off with any adult to a hotel, you're a shit mother for letting her go alone.
This doesn't even read like a Florida bad fanfiction, it reads more like a school bad fanfiction, but that's just me. Really, I think this woman just wants internet points for having a daughter with the 'tism and sympathy for the implied rape and points for being a tiger mom who had to be escorted out of the school for epically owning those incompetent school staff members.

I think that might've been a corporate janny. I don't know if he gets paid to sweep it up (mods have been caught sweeping it up and taking bribes for companies like bad jannies), but that mod could literally have a gun pressed against his head if people say nono words. Should've called them wet-brained and accused them of alcoholism and then concern troll about their drinking problem.
